3. Denver 1-0 at San Francisco Griese got spark from sideline; defense puts clamp on St. Louis

4. Miami 1-0 at Indianapolis Dolphins' game plan worked to perfection with Ricky Williams.

5. Indianapolis 1-0 Miami Offense was same; Dungy added just enough defense to hang on.

6. San Francisco 1-0 Denver Offense got it together late to win ugly behind good defensive performance.

7. Chicago 1-0 at Atlanta Picked up where they left off; big plays at the end to win.

8. Green Bay 1-0 at New Orleans Favre and Green combination proved to be too much.

9. NY Jets 1-0 New England Morton ran to victory, rescuing Martin-less offense.

10. Washington 1-0 Philadelphia Davis's 104 yards added to Spurrier's "Fun n' Gun" system.

11. St. Louis 0-1 NY Giants Offense couldn't get on track; Warner held without a passing TD.

12. Pittsburgh 0-1 Oakland Team was sloppy and Stewart struggled in disappointing Monday night opener.

13. Tennessee 1-0 at Dallas Game finished on high note, but Titans lost Kearse for at least six weeks.

14. Philadelphia 0-1 at Washington Had game in hand until offense lost aggressiveness.

15. San Diego 1-0 Houston Brees, Tomlinson ran up the score on Cincy's lackluster defense.

16. Tampa Bay 0-1 at Baltimore Offense awoke in second half, but it was too late; improvement on the way.

17. Kansas City 1-0 Jacksonville Trio of Green, Holmes and Gonzalez shredded Browns' overrated defense.

18. New Orleans 1-0 Green Bay Offense sputtered, but special teams came to the rescue.

19. Carolina 1-0 Detroit Veterans Peete and Walls showed Carolina can win.

20. Cleveland 0-1 Cincinnati Holcomb filled in admirably, but inexcusable mistake stole the victory.

21. Houston 1-0 at San Diego Carr made the most of 10 completions and won the "battle of Texas."

22. Buffalo 0-1 at Minnesota Bledsoe showed he still has it, but he doesn't play on special teams.

23. NY Giants 0-1 at St. Louis Interceptions and penalties took away any chance of opening with a win.

24. Atlanta 0-1 Chicago Vick lived up to billing, running Green Bay defense ragged.

25. Jacksonville 0-1 at Kansas City Taylor and Jimmy Smith did their part, but Jags lacked enough weapons to keep up.

26. Minnesota 0-1 Buffalo Controlled game for three quarters.

27. Dallas 0-1 Tennessee Trying to regroup after embarrassing loss; tough schedule ahead.

28. Seattle 0-1 Arizona 43 total rushing yards put too much pressure on QB Hasselbeck.

29. Cincinnati 0-1 at Cleveland Bengals couldn't move ball on ground; defense was MIA in embarrassing loss.

30. Baltimore 0-1 Tampa Bay Young team got experience and will have growing pains.

31. Arizona 0-1 at Seattle Plummer waited too long and couldn't muster another come-from-behind victory.

32. Detroit 0-1 at Carolina Twenty-one points isn't enough when defense gives up more than 400 total yards.
