truskinsfan18
Yeah it would take care of the DE problem, we could focus on SS and LB

TaylorPickSix
well even though he left i keep remembering what andyman said. "Don't be surprised to see Carter signed today." so that still gives me hope until he states otherwise (or Carter signs with someone else). dreamshatterer
Looks like he didn't like something: Redskins | A. NavyDave
Hmm after he compares the upfront money of other teams we may still get him
visionary
well even though he left i keep remembering what andyman said. "Don't be surprised to see Carter signed today." so that still gives me hope until he states otherwise (or Carter signs with someone else). Hmmm, maybe he knew that things would end up looking like he might not sign, and that we should not get too worried, by the way things look. Meaning that appearances may not all there is in Carter leaving without a contract. (perhaps his agent is working on it now.) Remember when EL got off the plane for Chicago it was assumed by some in the media that he had not agreed to anything either.

longtimeskinsfan
Maybe we are saving money for John Abrahams (Jets DE), who reportedly will visit several teams next week (which includes the Redskins). Maybe the Skins were trying to get Carter a little cheaper (especially because of his injury history) so we could get both Carter and Abrahams (I know we would still have to work out a trade with the Jets, but we still have the 2nd pick).
