50GutCheck
Santana Moss!!! Going through most of the 2005 season under double and sometimes triple coverage and still gaining over 1400 yards in receptions Santana has to be on cloud nine thinking about what will be next season now that Lloyd will be out there keeping opposing Defenses honest!! Thoughts on potential production from these guys...and don't forget to add Patton as an above-average number 3! How we'll be able to stretch Defenses...let me count the ways!!! :dallasuck :dallasuck :dallasuck :dallasuck :dallasuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck
FootballGuy2677
Santana Moss: 1108 Yards, 8 Touchdowns Brandon Lloyd: 869 Yards, 7 Touchdowns David Patten: 532 Yards, 2 Touchdowns Chris Cooley: 610 Yards, 4 Touchdowns
CrypticVillain
Could not agree more. Now that we have another "Threat" teams can not triple him anymore. Honerable mention for happeiset person. Chris Cooleey. With them three and a healthy Brunell with Clinton Portis. I think I better calm down.
Stew
I am probably just as Happy as Santana. My big worry now is how healthy Brunell will be, and if he does down, keeping pressure off of Campbell to keep him healthy.
ez2envy
Yea I dont know why people are sleeping on Patten as our no.3 he is perfect as a no 3. He was out of position last year as our no 2 and it showed, I think he will excel if we dont get Randle El
sknsrbck26
When we lost Patten last year we lost alot. Now with Lloyd if one goes down with a injury the other will be there in support. The happiest man is Brunell....he has alot of targets now.
Stew
I hope we dont overspend on Randel EL. I agree that Patten should be our #3 with a young reserve. Who knows, maybe Patten goes somewhere in a trade. With all the rabbits in the hats, aces up the sleeves, and now you see em now you dont tricks the Redskins FO has been doing, I wouldnt be surprised in the slightest. Loyal2Washington
Santana Moss: 1108 Yards, 8 Touchdowns I'm not sure if Moss' numbers will dip that much. Gary Clark never had a problem getting around 1300 with Monk and Sanders playing along side him. I don't see 1400+ but 1350 is still a possibility with less double teams, and the same amount of deep routs. :dallasuck :gaintsuck :eaglesuck

Brunell will be equally happy with all the open targets that will be available for his throwing pleasure! ...and here's the best part, not only do we have exceptional talent at the "skill" positions but we probably have one of the best Offensive Lines in the NFC. I honestly think that we have a great chance at being better then KC at being KC...on Offense, that is!!!
terpfan
My predictions as of now: Moss - 80 cathes, 1400 yards, 8 TDs Lloyd - 65 catches, 800 yards, 6 TDs Patten - 25 catches, 400 yards, 1 TDs Cooley - 65 catches, 700 yards, 7 TDs

dadirtbags
I would say the happiest man is Snyder...LOL!!!! Just think a few years back of who our coaches were and who we had on this (me first) Redskin teams....remember Michael Westbrook,..Gardner...Coles....and they tried to get Dion in the mix as a WR at times...LOL!!!!...Heath...Danny Wuerfful...Shane Mathews...in Gus we lost.. Trung Candidate (the list could go on and on)...anyway.......But I think he became the happiest man after Gibbs agreed to come back to Washington.....the rest is history in the makings Gibbs is in the process once again making this team a legit championship...hail to Gibbs :logo:

fdarugar
I hope Moss and Lloyd get along...they kinda seem like polar opposites. Santana seems extremely humble and Lloyd is a bit of a showmen to say the least.

Moss - 97 catches, 1532 yards, 12 TDs Lloyd - 78 catches, 1121 yards, 9 TDs Patten - 43 catches, 537 yards, 4 TDs Cooley - 57 catches, 627 yards, 12TDs Portis - 1776 rushing yards, 17TDs Man, this is going to be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have the potential to relive what we did in '91. Just like then we will have a brutal Defense and a high flying Offense...I pity the fools who get in our way! :notworthy

GOSKN5
I actually think the numbers for the receivers will be a little less than posted... I think it will be spread out a little more between Moss and Lloyd.... Here is what I think it will look like Moss 70 catches 1250 yards 8 touchdowns Lloyd 60 catches 950 yards 5 touchdowns Patten 30 catches 450 yards 2 touchdowns Cooley 50 catches 600 yards 10 touchdowns But i think Portis will have a huge huge year with over 1800 yards and 15 or 16 touchdowns... But then again i could be way low and it could be a crazy year on offense... with Moss and Lloyd gaining 1000+ yards... who knows... it sure is exciting to think about thats all i know... Tastes Like Chicken
The happiest man is Clinton Portis. Moss and Lloyd will stretch the field, and in the Saunders scheme, we will do plenty of zone blocking stretch plays, which CP is much more comfortable and productive with. Running lanes will open up, and assuming Randy Thomas recovers 100% from his broken leg, CP should be a Pro Bowl starter next year and just might have a shot at the 2,000 yard club.
