Mark The Homer
Hi, THANKS. There are a few pics in this thread that show the view from various points within the cave. All these seats have either a limited or obstructed view. TC
You're a good man, Mark the Homer! I've gotten to the point where I don't buy much on Ebay anymore b/c of stuff like this. I've also recently been looking for Eagles-Skins tickets on the 10th of Dec and I've called out several auctioneers about not listing the "obstructed view". Any honest seller would list that, and if it honestly wasn't an issue they would include a picture taken from the seat showing limitied obstructions. This is Dan Snyder's fault, btw. He never should have put in those seats in the first place. It's ridiculous. Maybe everybody who gets scammed should send him the bill for the tickets. Mark The Homer
Thanks. I can't say I have a problem with the OV seats anymore. I have to admit the price is right. They are pretty cheap. They enable me to get my kids to the game. You can always move once you're inside. Regarding eBay, you do have to know some basic info about the seats and the tickets. Otherwise it's easy to get taken by an unscrupulous seller. The first post in this thread has tons on info. Once you're educated, eBay is perfectly safe when you use caution. Good luck finding your Philly tix!
Mark The Homer
Seller is purposely vague. Mark The Homer
This guy is selling tix in 404, but provides a pic from 403, making it appear his seats are 15 yards closer to the 50. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290031737090&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D290031737090%26fvi%3D1 Same guy, selling in 406, shows pic from 405. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290031734992&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D290031734992%26fvi%3D1
Mark The Homer
This guy's a riot! He says "I have set a reasonable price." His reasonable price for opening bid is up to TEN TIMES FACE VALUE:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180026007493&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D180026007493%26fvi%3D1 The winner of the above auction must have wised up and decided not to pay. So now the seller has relisted, and dropped the price to only up to eight times face value. "...a great price." Mark The Homer
Yep, tix to the Jags game seem pretty darned cheap already. Most are going for less than face. Apparently, not a lot of people want to go and watch the Redskins lose. :-( This guy is selling "great LOWER LEVEL seats", but doesn't mention the obstructed or limited view and his pic is misleading: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320031043672&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D320031043672%26fvi%3D1 This guy doesn't mention the Limited View which is printed on his tickets, and his pic is misleading: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130029868645&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D130029868645%26fvi%3D1

redskinsfan85
Mark, Just got some tickets off of ebay. They are in section 307. Just a few questions regarding these seats. They are either in row row 16-18. The seller says these seats are under the overhang with big screen tvs nearby. I hope these seats aren't obstructed...please tell me they aren't! Also, some listings for the club level say luxurious large seats ("Luxurious Padded (very few available, HUGE difference), oversized seats w/ in-seat waitress service from the gold ring on the mezzanine level of the stadium."). Are all the seats the same, so I too have luxurious padded seats? LOL, I'd LOVE that but because the seller didn't say anyting I'm assuming they're regular seats and I also wouldn't get the in-seat waitress service, correct? Hi, I sat in 306, row 19, seats 1 & 2 for the first three years the stadium was open. The club level does not have any obstructed view seats, except for perhaps a railing for seats close to the aisle around rows 9 or 10. The overhang is from the upper level. In theory, IF the rain falls straight down, row 17 is covered, and row 16 gets wet. However, that never happens. Usually a little wind brings the rain in. Typically, row 17 gets wet, row 18 will get their knees wet but keep their head dry. I know it's advertised, but I've never really noticed a difference in seat size compared to the other red seats. If you count the seats in the top row of the 100 level, and the bottom row of the 300 level, you get the same number: 22. I think the seats are exactly the same size. There are cup holders, though. The padded seats are optionally ordered and paid for my the individual seat owners. They're also personalized with the owners names. Everybody in the club level has wait service available to them. Hope this helps.

This will be my 4th game and so far I've got an unblemised record. I hope it stands this week! He doesn't mention the limited view, or the fact that his seats are way back in the cave, or anything else. All his positive feedback, except for one, are from people who left feedback BEFORE they sat in the seats. "No Paypal payments excepted!", which means, of course, no paypal guarantee. Funny how the cheats almost always have spelling and grammar issues. Here's another. The seller advertises tix in 308, a back corner section. But he shows pics from 316, a front corner section. He further entices the buyer with "free beer." lol What a creep. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330033803249&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D330033803249%26fvi%3D1

The first time I saw this, I didn't think anything of it. That might have been yesterday. But now I ran across it again and the UK thing caught my eye. Then I checked his other listings. Rampant tickets listings all over the country, all carefully orchestrated to close within the same two minutes. Seller has no sales history. Something ain't right. But he does have a pic of tickets. Hmm. Did a quick search of closed listings, and looky here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130024864399&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D130024864399%26fvi%3D1 That's the REAL seller. The hijacker apparently hijacked somebody's account who also resides in the UK. Then he stole the photo, and since he's practically illiterate, he stole the text of the listing too! And now he's trying to scam somebody. And so far nobody has caught on. I believe our man has changed his M.O. I'm turning him into eBay now. Somebody should be paying me for this ****....
