Teller
OK. I'll share my dream from last night first. Then, use this thread to post interesting or unusual dreams of your own. We'll leave them up to the amateur dream analysts here at ES for interpretation. Here's mine: I went to Ground Zero in NYC. (Which I couldn't bring myself to do in real life the last time I was in the City.) Anyway, there was a huge concrete wall there with a bunch of handwritten signs in tribute to the victims. They were all written in crayon, and I remember three of them specifically. 1) "RIP Herman Melville." -- WTF? Dude was/is a poet or something, right? 2) "A 'private' memorial" -- For some reason I assumed this one was for a NYPD or FDNY member, posted anonymously. 3) "Long live the Mexican Hippie Revolution -sonnyrules" -- This one just makes no sense AT ALL. I've never really talked to sonnyrules on here. And I wasn't aware of the MHR movement; nor their relevance to 9/11. OK...Give me your best interpretation. And don't just tell me I'm nuts. Gimme something deep and insightful, or at least something I don't already know.
OrangeSkin
That's certainly a doozie...Melville is the author of Moby Dick. I don't fancy myself a dream expert, but I could probably come up with something if I were more familiar with your current circumstances. Oddest dream I had was back in college...I'd been dating my girlfriend (and future wife) for about 5 months, and I dreamed that I made out with her 12-year-old sister while she was in the room and I had to go before judicial review. Teller
I figured. BTW, the "Orange" still sounds wrong to me. But then, I guess the expression "Orangemen" was offensive to the growing number of men who use "tan in a can."

Here's my interpretation: You feel deeply about your country and the foundations of it: i.e. old/good authors, those who protect us (you were an officer yourself), and of course, the Washington Redskins. (and whose screenname better to represent than SonnyRules?) Perhaps due to the chaotic madness of the Stadium these days, it is similar to the Mexican Hippie Revolution (only more like the Generation Z revolution of new posters). You are dealing with the grief of every new negative political post in this forum and on the news (latest: Milosevic found dead in cell) which continually reminds you of 9/11, even though most of America has dangerously forgotten it. to strange dreams. That's a pretty strong analysis. I can usually make some sense of my own dreams, but this one had me stumped. I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Thank you! Now, can we hear some of yours?

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Thank you! Now, can we hear some of yours? Well, I know you know this one already, but my latest Redskin dream was...... I was adrift in a fierce ocean on top of a scant raft that was falling apart, and sharks began nipping at me through the raft from below. I was screaming for help and terrified, and just then Redskins came out of nowhere--like 5-7 of them, I remember Sean Taylor, Ryan Clark, Jon Jansen, etc......and they built me a really sturdy raft out of wood to keep the sharks away and get me to shore. (my friend whom I told the dream to, said, if they appeared out of nowhere why couldn't they just fly you back to shore?.....mmmm...I didn't think of that. But they still rescued me!!) That one's easy. OK, being adrift in the ocean symbolizes fear of the unknown. Sean Taylor and Ryan Clark are SAFETIES. So they symbolize your desire for safety and security. Now, Jansen symbolizes the new breed of hogs. And the reason you referenced five or seven players is because there were five original hogs. Seven if you count HONORARY hogs Donnie Warren and Riggo. So all in all, your dream means you're not sure what's going to happen, but you'd feel safe and secure in the arms of an honorary hog. (Clarification: For those of you who missed it in the "Show Yourselves" thread, georgiaredskin is a chick.)

zoony
One time I dreamt that I could run really, really fast. I'm talking 70-80 mph fast. It was pretty cool. I didn't do anything special, but I had a lot of fun running around. I never got tired, either. Anyone wanna interpret that one?

I didn't do anything special, but I had a lot of fun running around. I never got tired, either.Anyone wanna interpret that one? Yes. You're completely selfish. How so, you ask? Simple. Superman can fly; and he uses his super power to help people in distress. The Incredible Hulk has super strength; and uses it to right injustices when he gets really pissed off. Aquaman can breathe underwater; and uses it to....talk to fish or whatever the hell Aquaman does. You on the other hand get super speed. Do you use it to rush in and save kids from being hit by speeding vehicles? Do you use it to catch crooks when the donut-laiden cops get outrun? Do you even use it to help our Redskins win a freaking Super Bowl? No. It's all about you isn't it? Selfish ****.

Teller
I like GeorgiaRedskin's interpretation better. It's not an exact science. It's kinda like baseball. If you're right 1/3 of the time or so, you're a HOFer.

TK
Just for the record, the ONLY time Aquaman was cool was when he lost his hand to a piranha & he had that badass hook. :geek:

I'm not a HOFer! I'm the friggin GOAT baby! BTW, I knew I was right. I just put the little smiley thing at the end, because it makes the truth seem, well, nicer. See? georgiaredskin
Dam you've got a talent for this stuff. :notworthy :notworthyNone of it true of course, but it sounded good. You like riding motorcycles, hang-gliding, jumping off airplanes, wrestling with crocodiles, playing snorkle with sharks, and saying "C'mon! Sean! Jack me up!" Thrill-seekers. Can smell 'em a mile away.

I was more the Justice League type; where he pretty much blew. The other thing that was really gay about the Justice League (I can't believe I'm trashing my childhood like this) was the Wonder Twins. OK, the chick was cool. She could turn into any animal she wanted. That'd be friggin' sweet. But then her brother would respond by turning into a bucket of water. He was carried by his sister even more than Ashley Simpson.
