NFL | Shuler ready to run for Congress; files paperwork late Fri, 10 Mar 2006 15:19:00 -0800 Tim Whitmire, of the Associated Press, reports the campaign of Democratic congressional hopeful and former NFL QB Heath Shuler has filed a financial disclosure statement, more than six months late. Campaign spokesman Andrew Whalen said the campaign has paid a $200 fine for filing the paperwork late and noted that the campaign changed managers at the start of the year.
