skinfan2k
does it matter. the broncos are always looking for dline help.. last year it was the cleveland browns. obviously they dont have a good system there. come to washington and lower your expectation. tell the jets to screw themselves and trade for a 7th round pick

elkabong82
That sounds like a likely trade, but then again, PFT says a lot of things. Most of them untrue. Reality escapes their grasp quicker than the Lombardi Trophy escapes the grasp of the Eagles.

talk show host
so essentially we chose jason campbell over john abraham. this kid better end up being one hell of a QB
dinothekid
We don't need Abraham, he is too expensive. We will be much better off with Howard and a good WR and CB
DOOG
you know whats amazing to me....how the Broncos spend spend spend but no one says one word about them trying to buy a superbowl...they are always in "cap Trouble" too....how does that rat in denver do it? They make some really bad personnel decisions too! :dallasuck

I would say we have a better chance at getting him then the Broncos. :2cents:
Burgold
THinking the same thing, the Broncos seem to go on a Redskins 2000like spending spree every single year, just gobbling up free agents. They've even been penalized for creative accounting at least once. Seems to me, they should be very tight against the cap, if not well over given their history with free agency. StevieInferior
hmmm Denver seems to go after FAs like we do. How come there are no reports of them "buying" a championship?
CPstretch
abraham would have been nice but darren howard can and will do the job if we land him. abraham seems like he has too much baggage and would definately want a huge payday.

I guess you have a point. I mean, you never know if we will have a playoff game and he refuses to play because he is a FA the following season.

Denver apparently is willing to give them a first round pick for Abraham. Deal could definitely get done. The Jets want a first round pick for Abraham. We have no first round picks. Seems to me that's where it ends.

Mister Happy
We need our picks to trade for Javon Walker. Andre Carter and Darren Howard are perfectly acceptable substitutes to John Abraham.
