skinsngibbs4life
from kffl.com, which got the information from packers official website, the packers are going to make signing kampman there top priority. Packers | Re-signing Kampman is team's top priority Thu, 9 Mar 2006 13:32:47 -0800 Pete Daugherty, of PackersNews.com, reports the Green Bay Packers have made re-signing DE Aaron Kampman their top priority, but there is a significant gap in negotiations between the two sides. Packers vice president of player finance Andrew Brandt continued talks late Wednesday, March 8, with Kampman's representatives. The team is believed to have upped their offer to re-sign Kampman before he becomes an unrestricted free agent.
Jon T.
That makes a lot of sense for them.
CPstretch
well now they won't be drafting mario williams like some of the mock drafts have said.
diesel22
very good for them -- not so much for us. That guy is very underrated
DieselPwr44
well now they won't be drafting mario williams like some of the mock drafts have said. I doubt that. They'd be foolish to pass him up if he was there when they drafted. Williams has the potential to be twice the DE KGB is anyway. :2cents:
SkinsTillIDie
There is a "significant gap" still between them... And yet they expect to reach a deal in the next 24 hours or so?
Hog Fever
Williams could be special, but if they resign Kampman then my money is on the Packers targeting A.J. Hawk. They are thin at LB and Hawk should be a solid player.

Barnett is the 1st guy to really step up for them in a LONG time (and please no one try to tell me about Diggs....who was mediocre at best). They need help in so many positions though I would almost advise them to come down on the board and try to fill multiple gaps. God bless Brett but he should hang it up bc this team isn't going to be competitive for A WHILE
