fight_on_til_you_have_won
As full of holes as they are, and as deep a draft as this is, I don't think trading down is such a bad idea. Depending on who they would trade with, they could potentially land D'Brickashaw Ferguson and have one, maybe two extra draft picks to use for more players. I was under the impression that Domanick Davis was doing a pretty decent job for the Texans at the RB position. Then again, I'm no Mel Kiper (or John Clayton). What do you think? Big Weirdo
They should trade the first pick and take D'Brickashaw. They can't trade too far if they're going to do that, though. I think they should just **** the norm and take D'Brickashaw with the first pick. They do not need Reggie Bush.

Davis is a good RB and with a solid T like Ferguson not only would he flourish more in the running game, Carr might not be laying on his backside so much :2cents:
CPstretch
they should definitely trade their #1 to the jets for abraham and the #4 pick and take d'brickishaw. they have dominik davis who is a decent enough back to be their RB. what they really need is protection for david carr. the texans have a few good receiver, andre johnson, jabar gaffney, and cory bradford. they have some weapons, but carr never has time to hit them. ZoEd
I started this same post about a month ago and I still contend that they trade the pick to get multiple draft picks. Get D' Brick and several other core players in the trenches. I've been comparing this situation to the trade Dallas made with Minn. involving Herchel Walker. Herchel was the man but Dallas was able to build their entire team around that one pick. Houston has a chance to do the same thing. Bush is a rare talent but he's not what Houston needs. They have a good RB, QB but can't open holes or protect either one of them. CPstretch don't let anyone here you talking about trading with the Jets, thats our whipping post. I say we trade Ramsey and next years first and a later pick this year for us to move up and take Vernon Davis. Have them trading with Oakland. VAsBeachBoy
I think the talk of what anyone who consequently would have the first pick should do is pretty nuts. I am almost positive IMO that Bush is going to be the best RB to ever play the game. His instincts are better, he's faster, smarter, quicker, strong for his size, and basically cerebral on the football field. I have heard some people say he won't be good, well I say KAKA... I wouldn't care if had someone like a deshaun foster or domanick or corey dillon type back it just wouldn't matter. If my team could afford him there's no way I'd turn him down b/c I think there is one thing you can say about him that you can't say about any other player in the history of drafting..... HE WILL WIN SOMEONE A SUPERBOWL COME HELL OR HIGH WATER...
