Spartacus87
I'd rather drop Lavar and his paycheck/attitude if it helps us re-sign Clark, keep our O-line together, and give us just a liiiittle more room to work under the cap for whatever else Gibbs and co. can work out. Signing Dock is big, I think things are looking up for now atleast after a weekend filled with CBA drama.
soljaofjesus
Is it possible we resign lavar for the same contract as Marcus Washington and not be penalized for it?
mikeyf316
Is it possible we resign lavar for the same contract as Marcus Washington and not be penalized for it? Good question. I'm actually depressed that he appears to be leaving. I think he has the potential to stay and be a good part of the team. I wonder if you're right... shallyshal
that means that the cap money saved by lavar will be used on a position other than the o line...
powerANDgut
Is it possible we resign lavar for the same contract as Marcus Washington and not be penalized for it? I don't see him getting a contract like Washington's...I see him getting a lot of lowball offers and he picks the best one. or He signs a one year deal (ala ty law) to prove his worth to teams, except teams will see his speed is gone and his brains were never there... NEMO
I must be in the wrong room; Isn't this a Dockery thread? :paranoid: it is it is... I think Dock is a good player. Best thing about him is that he knows our system. Finally some consitency in Redskins park. We should have our whole O-line back and the same running back because a certain somebody wouldn't restructure his contract. I am glad that somebody is gone and Dock got the chance to stay. I bet he would have restructured his contract.
elkabong82
It is GREAT we resigned, or are resigning, Dockery. He helped our O-line establish themselves as a powerhouse this past season. Yes, he still has some improving to do. However, he is young, he is monstruous, and he was voted the most improved Skin. We are in a position of great need at O-line depth. This is the best move addressing this issue that we could have made right now. Look for the rest of the depth problem to be solved in the draft, and probably one cheap vet as back-up.
