BMORE SKINZ
What's up Skins faithful? Hope everyone is doing well. I just had to share a moment that just happened that brought a tear to my eye. I have a 6 yr. old son, a 4 yr. old son, and my 6 yr. old niece is here. I'm sitting here watching the NFL Channel and all the news about the CBA when i heard a sound that would make any Redskins fan proud. My little crew, with no suggestions or enticement from me, in their bedroom, with the door closed, were singing Hail To The Redskins at the top of their voice. I wish I had a recorder. Of course some of the words were a little jumbled but they do it amazingly well!!! Can't tell you how proud I am that God is allowing me to raise little Redskins fans!! I take this duty bery seriously!! I may even start "The Redskins Trio" to sing the song at Redskins Home Games!!! Just thought I 'd share some good news in the midst of all this CBA mess!! Thanks for letting me share!! BMS

swissarmy47
That truly warms the soul. Hey I'm in Baltimore too, orig. from Rockville/Olney but stayed out here after school. I've already converted the wife of just over a year, as evidenced by the burgundy and gold basement

kingfish50
I know how you feel and that's great. Last sept. M. Mosley, D. Grant and R. Jefferson did an appearence at Sunnybrook Tavern in Oxon Hill, Md. I brought my 5 year old daughter along as she is a big Redskin fan also. After a Q & A session, we were sitting at a table next to the bar when my daughter says that she wanted to sing Hail to the Redskins song. I was a little reluctant at first but everyone around us urged me to let her sing. So we walk up to Mosley and I tell him. He grabs the mike and announces my daughters name and that she will be singing HTTR song. My daughter grabed the mike and started singing away. Eveybody joined in on the last verse and gave her a standing ovation. That did put a tear in my eye. She got her pic tken by a photographer with the redskins QB club, so if they have a web site, I'm sure it's on there. Anyway, I thought I'd share that with you because I know exactly how you felt. Isn't it a great feeling?
