KDawg
Is there someone in this thread seriously complaining about pictures with an extremeskins banner? Wow, people. I've seen low, and that's about where complaining about that kind of thing is... Relax. It's a picture and it's a banner. Absolutely no reason to get upset or offended by it. Maybe that particular picture was for ES members only, or maybe they were just joking, or maybe it was said by someone who didn't know any better. Come on, guys. We're better than complaining about little stuff like that.
Art
It would appear all folks associate over-bearing, power hungry mods with liberal socialists like communists or NAZIs . Funny. What's that say about the left .

Die Hard
I thought it was just me, but after reading some of his posts, he is like this to most everyone. I bet you I could find 1000 people right now that wouldn't say that. People whom I've met over the past 6 years... people who I respect and trust... and people who respect me and trust me... and read the rules and follow the rules. You know what? Because they are intelligent, respectful people who want to be part of this community... and make it better. You know what you share in common with "everyone" else? You don't read the rules, you don't follow the rules.... so cry me stinking river. Like I'll tell anyone... go start up your own business... start up your own website... and I promise like hell I'll put you through what the mods on here go through with complete disregard for the rules, the community and the people who actually want to make this a quality site. If you're over 32 years old... that isn't an excuse for anything. In fact, that's an indictment. You're old enough to know better. Read the rules. You agreed that you read the rules when you registered. Believe it or not. Everyone here did. Of course, you didn't read them.. because it's long and boring. And guess what... we expect that. That's why there's a provision in there that says "IGNORANCE OF THE RULES IS NO EXCUSE". So own up.. and take your punishment for not following the rules. God knows you wouldn't sign a contract without reading it... but that's what many have done here. And then have the nerve to cry foul.
Die Hard
Start your own site. Seriously. If I had the time I'd do it. But for now you have to put up with stuff you don't like because you don't have your own site. Ain't that the truth. There are thousands of sites on the same topic because everybody has their own vision on how things should be done. Rules are the rules... because people have been doing this for 6 years and devised a formula to maintain a certain standard. Whether you agree with it or not. You want to fit in? Read the rules. Or go start your own site and make your own rules.

36SKINS56
Takes a man to admit I was wrong...so...I WAS WRONG...I just get heated real easily about stuff like that because in MY opinion...there are much more useless threads out there. desertfox59
I'm not sure what occured in your particular situation, but are you sure your threads were actually 'closed'....a lot of times (particularly when we're in full rabid-mode here, such as at the present time) repetitive or redundant threads get merged into larger ones. Not saying thats what happened here, but many times it does and folks assume their threads were deleted (which we never do) or closed. If, in fact, your thread was new, contained breaking news, and turned out to be factual, and someone closed it anyway, we probably owe you an apology. Whatever was done though, I doubt seriously it was intended as a personal slam. As usual.....your softest touch ....commands respect....I think you might really be a nice person.... desertfox59
It was the first one...becuase it got 10 posts in the matter of a minute...none of them saying it had already been posted. Maybe I am B****ing, but there is definately favoritsm...I posted the thread when I heard it...about 4 hours before it broke. But as long as your post that had nothing to do with the Skins was up, people will kiss your *** becuase you were an original member here's an idea.....post a thread that is actually an original thread...not some retread of someone elses article....maybe an original discussion...good or bad...is less likely to be closed....just a thought. DC_Native,NC_Fan
This post is just to contribute to my eventual Communist status when I hit 5,000 posts in 10 years. Eventually, you WILL bow down. :allhail: Until then, I am not a worthy Redskins fan, and may not even be one at all.
cactitle
It seems simple..From what I have seen. The people that have more posts and have been on here longer get more privliges..When im here for 3 years or get 40,000 posts lets see if I get any privleges. Well I have been an ES member for 3 years and look at my post count. I enjoy reading more then posting unless I have something to add that already hasnt been covered. I think the ES staff does a great job considering all of the threads that are started every day dealing with the same subject. If news comes out and it has been more then 3 minutes, you can pretty much gurantee that someone has posted it. This is a huge community and we all know any news gets posted almost immediately. Use the Search function or just scan the first two pages in this forum section and chances are you will find what you are looking to post about. s0crates
communism - n. 1 any theory or system about common ownership of property. 2 [often C.] a) socialism as formulated by Marx, Lenin, etc. any government of political movement supporting this. So, unless we all own a share of ES, I fail to see how ES can be called communist. kingfish50
While I have never run into this problem I did have a real big problem with how the lords of Extremeskins.com acted after the Tampa Bay victory at Redskins Park. It is really sad that when you take a picture of your stupid ES banner you didn't include anyone that wasn't part of ES. Skins fans were trying to get in the picture and were told that you aren't part of ES so get out of our picture. I hope that's not true. We are all Redskin fans here. Aren't we? All for one and one for all?
Dallsux
I understand your frustrations 3656, but it's the society we live in. The veterans on this board as well as any other message board tend to get respect because they've earned it. Just bite your tongue and don't worry about tooting your own horn. Grow with the board. What he said.
