Joe_328
Yeah you probably saw it on ESPN... Pretty sad. And stupid. Didn't even wait 3 months to start copying another star athlete's originality.
lucky*13
Ya,i watched that and said what a rip off,he is so trying to be like portis.
GhostOfLamontHollinquest
Bonds looks alot gayer... not as funny either.
Dawgies
I don't know if you guys are serious but he isn't copying Portis. It was an American Idol thing they did at spring training. He was Paula Abdul.
Combatant
He did sort of copy cat Clinton, but that's the most humor you've seen out of Bonds for awhile (ever) with the media. Maybe he's off the roids now.
fight_on_til_you_have_won
I didn't think he was copying Portis at all -- I thought he was trying anything to rebuild his tarnished reputation. (And it's funny this is mentioned at all, considering Clinton wasn't the first to do CPR on the ball after a touchdown.) The best part about the whole "charity" event in SF was that it only raised ~$330. These athletes could probably pull that much out of their couch cushions.
MoeRedskins
Guys, I highly doubt Portis was the first person to play dress up for an interview, so cut Bonds some slack.
Combatant
Guys, I highly doubt Portis was the first person to play dress up for an interview, so cut Bonds some slack. That's true....Rodman and R. Williams dressed up as females.
SittingBull
Portis did dress up as a feminine man but never as a woman.

As for Bonds - he is in a no win with most people. Either he is a "cancer to his team" or he is "trying to rebuild his tanrished rep".
ccsl2
I seriously doubt Bonds wants to be Portis just because he dressed up...I didn't actually realize how big Bonds was until hge came out with his shoulders showing...he looked like King F'ing Kong! cooper02145
He is only doing it because they are filming a reality TV show on him for ESPN. I am sure that it was suggested to him by the TV people. Let's not look into this too much.

DoGood28
That was awful and WAY below Clinton Portis' originality. Psycho roider.
The Evil Genius
Considering he isn't get a dime for the reality show, I would be suprised if that was the motive. He isn't the bad teammate that the media portrays. Sure he has his quirks (the Barcolounger and two or three dressing stalls)....but most superstars command that. ccsl2
Hmmmmm i wonder why? He should of left his shirt on if he wanted the steroid issue to go away. I don't think he cares really...he didn't test positive when they implemented the program...all he wants to do is pass Babe Ruth...and we all know no one wants him to do that at all. Die Hard
And Portis copied Steve Smith's endzone celebration when he performed CPR on the football. Who cares.

The only teammates that have problems with him are the ones who are as big of a prima donna as him.
