gchwood
Inspired by the thread about NFL stadiums. What MLB Stadiums have you been to? and which was/is your favorite? For me: Camden Yards Memorial Stadium Yankee Stadium Fenway Park Wrigley Field Shea Stadium RFK Stadium Fulton County Stadium Turner Field Tiger Stadium Comerica Park Jacobs Field US Cellular Riverfront Stadium The Great American Ballpark Three Rivers Stadium PNC PArk The Vet

brewdogmike
I give high marks to Turner Field. It's going to be difficult for the new DC ballpark to come close.
Grimm
I've only been to Coors Field in Colorado, still one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, the fountain in Centerfiled, the mountains in the background, and just how perfect and green the grass was, just gorgeous

The 12th Commandment
Camden and PetCo. Both were real nice, but Camden has somehow instilled a sense of history even though it's new.

The Evil Genius
I still think PacBell/SBC/At&T park is the best of the best. Scenery -> check Not a bandbox -> check Good weather 24/7 during baseball season -> check Good architecture -> check
gchwood
Yankee Stadium is my alltime favorite (Of course I am a Yankees fan). But when you walk in you can feel a tangible air of history. You are walking on the ground that Babe Ruth and Lou Gerhig walked, simply amazing

I know it played havoc at Candlestick. My list: Yankee Stadium Memorial Stadium Camden Yards The Vet The Phillies new stadium Old Tiger Stadium Three Rivers Candlestick The Diamondbacks stadium - we actually only ate at the TGIF, it was during the off season, but we went out into the stadium. Predicto
How is the wind factor there? I know it played havoc at Candlestick. Totally under control. The place is designed right. Plus, the stadium is in the last part of town to get the late summer evening fog, whereas Candlestick was in a fog tunnel. Candlestick may have been the worst baseball experience possible. To go from Candlestick to PacBell was like divorcing Phyllis Diller to marry Jessica Alba. When I go there, I'm still pinching myself expecintg to wake up, and it's been open seven years already. The Evil Genius
Like Predicto said, the wind is mostly a non-factor. If anything, it wreaks a little havoc on popups to the infield. When it was built, MLB people thought it would give up a lot of home runs, sicne its short to right. But the 23' (it was supposed to be 24' but they messed up) fence to right and a usually constant wind blowing off of McCovey Cove knocks a lot of homers into doubles.
