I don't really get the La'Roi love so much.

Good player, doesn't fit. Buh-bye.

Well... until we moved to the 3-4 he was a vital piece... not so much anymore as a situational player...

I hated it because he was a good guy and a good example to kids...

17 million over the cap and talking about bringin' in a high priced player at a position you seem pretty set at.

You'll never learn.

we're not set at DT, won't be over the cap by later tonight and with the flood of players available + every team being affected, most free agents will be signing for less than they would have.

You'll never learn.

You're going to have to trim off more than 20 million, considering that if you cut 12 players, you'll have to sign 12 replacements...and even if you sign them at the minimum of 500k, that's 6 million more.

You will not sign anyone who's ever sniffed a Pro Bowl in the last 3 or 4 years.

Not Glover, no high profile receivers...no one.

Give it time.

him and Darren Howard can "audition" this year for one year min contracts with us.

one year min contracts?

laroi glover will play for no less then 4 million a year...... hes still a elite player. hes made like the last 6 pro bowls.

Sad to see him go hes a good player but doesnt really fit in the 3-4 defense but in the 4-3 i expect him to make the pro bowl again next year.

I highly doubt the redskins get him....

Don't you guys understand the concept there are already a good handful of teams out there with 15-25 million above the cap already!?! Without any cuts. They are the teams that are going to get these guys, and while these players may get a little less money then in other years, its not going to get anywhere to the point where a team that is going to be right up against the wall in trying to just tread water yet again with the cap, will be able to sign them.

You, like many teams will clear enough space to get under the cap.

You, like many teams will not be adding too many players, let alone pro bowlers.

I'll agree on that was, he's an excellent player...that's why I was wondering why Dallas was converting to 3-4 because he isn't a prototypical 3-4 NT

He was an excellent player in our 4-3, and a great person to have in the locker room.

Class act all around.

But he was completely phased out this season, and he was frustrated.

Our defense success had a lot to do with him in the 4-3, but he didnt really have much of any impact last season.

Its best for both parties in this instance to part ways.

He was in Dallas for 4 seasons, and made the pro bowl all 4 seasons.

It's impossible to not love what he brought week in and week out.

That will be missed, but we have to move on.
