FootballGuy2677
No CBA...No improvement? Apparently since there will be no CBA. Were be frozen in Free Agency. That means no Eric Moulds, Antonio Bryant, Koren Robinson, or Nate Burleson. Then in the Draft...we don't have a 1st round pick. Are we gonna even improve this offseason? Maybe Our scouts better actually do a good job scouting in the later rounds for once. P.S Woody Paige is an idiot for saying us redskins fans shouldnt worry becuase we have Dan Snyder!!!! HES THE ONE WHO GOT US IN THIS MESS!!!!!!!
TD_washingtonredskins
We'll improve. Continuity and a stronger coaching staff tends to aid improvement.
authentic
we made the playoffs with what we had last year. no reason why we can't get it done with the same group. It wouldn't hurt to get a big WR, and a Pass Rush DE in the later rounds. Who knows?
spitfire071
Yeah, we are not in total collapse as everyone seems to think though a few key additions would be nice.
Destino
We'll improve. Continuity and a stronger coaching staff tends to aid improvement. But isn't continuity harmed by having to cut players, especially starters - and aren't we facing a lot of cuts if there is no CBA? Also we have a new OC this season. Are we going to be able to improve the talent on the roster, stay the same, or actually lose talent if there is no CBA? I can't imagine the team looking better if we field a less talented unit. Much of the reason for last years success was the addition of Moss - not just the coaching staff sticking around. Also did our defense take a step back early in the season because of talent losses at LB and CB?
REDSKINSQ
will improve because every team will be cutting guys not just us and those guys will have to make a pay cut in order to get back on a team.

Also we have a new OC this season. Well, our continuity wasn't hurt too much from year 1 to year 2 when we brought in a new look to the offense with Musgrave. I think Saunders will be similar...he'll add to what we have, not change it drastically. If we have to cut a bunch of starters, then sure, we'll be hurt a little. But we know that we're keeping a core group together AND this is a league dominated by coaches and they are together for an unprecedented 3rd season. A good staff can take average talent and create a special team.
REDSKINSQ
i think were just going to do our contracts differently this year.
Hooper
We will have far less depth than last year -- and we didn't exactly have much to begin with. But don't worry, we'll be fine as long as we don't suffer one injury all season.

NavyDave
Ahh to be naive and barely able to shave again. We will have starters the problem could be depth if anything. A healthy Patten will take pressure off of Moss. We do have receivers gettting groomed in NFLEurope if it comes down to it. Lavar will still be here as will our other linebackers. e16bball
will improve because every team will be cutting guys not just us and those guys will have to make a pay cut in order to get back on a team. I don't think that's true. Per ESPN.com, there are only 13 teams in the league who are over the cap (and who, thus, would have to cut players) and one of those is the Cowboys who are only $1.2M over. Three other teams are less than $10M over, so I'm going to assume that they could get under with some restructuring and some unimportant cuts. At any rate, you are talking about only 9 teams that may have to cut anyone of consequence, and assuredly some of them can skate by, as well. Hell, we are in the 5th worst cap shape currently out of the whole league and we are finding ways to get under. At the end of the day, I bet you see only 5-6 teams who cut anyone of real consequence (that they wouldn't have cut normally; Trevor Pryce, for example, would have been cut regardless of the CBA getting done or not).
