fdarugar
If it is announced it means that the CBA will not be extended, and vice versa.

RabidFan
This was just a deadline set by Tags and does not represent the new football year.
Warhead36
I don't care anymore. I was worried before because I wasn't sure if our players would restructure. Brunell restructured and Gibbs said "other team members". I think we've already agreed to most of our restrutures. It's just a question of whether the CBA gets done, because if it doesn't than we won't need to redo the deals. Brunell's restructure done now because he may have been a legit threat to be cut in the near future regardless.

I think we may have to cut a few guys, but there's no way in hell we are fielding 20 rookies next year like ESPN is reporting.
NavyDave
You mean that we have team players that might actually redo their contracts to get us near or under the Cap? I'm sure we've got several restructures in place as well. Players on this team know that we're very close to being dominant...if they get cut here they'll probably end up on some crap team and have to start all over again. They know its in their best interest to stay put. :2cents:

CPstretch
even if we do restructure a lot of deals and the cba is extended, it means we will have more money to sign some big names. restructuring is not a bad thing right now.

By restructuring also mean we can afford to keep people like Trash and other people....Daniels. I hope a CBA can be extended.

Stophovr6
Can a player take a cut this year and restructure his contract to say that by staying here he expects a lot more money when 2007, an uncapped year, comes about?
