Inxsive
Anyone know the whole process and the penalties for not being under the cap by the deadline?
dockeryfan
My understanding is that a deadline is set, which I believe is 4PM tomorrow. Then if a team is found to not be in compliance with the cap, the NFL begins voiding contracts, starting with the most recent ones, until the team is under the cap. SkinsNut73
I was listening to the radio at lunch and they had Jay Glazer as a guest....according to him they start penalizing you by taking a draft pick (or picks depending upon how bad the situation is), and then begin voiding contracts to get you under the cap...
