edgun88
Given that Ramsey will leave, and that Campbell is our 2nd stringer, who will be our 3rd QB? Will we get an old, veteran FA. Or will it be a Rookie? What do you guys think?
RDSKNfaithfull
We will carry two like we did with Spurrier
sweet daddy
Actually Campbell probably won't be the 2nd stringer. Or at least should not be.

Or will it be a Rookie? What do you guys think? If all we're getting is a 4th rounder for Ramsey, he should be one of our QB's. I know a 4th rounder is something, but I don't think it's enough. We need to get more or package him in some sort of deal, but to answer your question, veteran FA.

Art
It's a good question. Normally I'd say we'd go with a late-round draft pick of some sort. Someone who stands 6-5, has a huge arm and who will be worked in over the next four years before he's even close to ready to take over. Gibbs does wonders with projects like this. However, since Brunell faded some, you have to protect against injury to him and a slower development with Campbell if you intend to be a team built to contend despite injury to the starting QB. I'd look for a vet with a big arm. Maybe Collins .
MoeRedskins
I'm on the bring back Tim Hasselbek wagon. For a 3rd stringer he is good and already knows the offense. It is just a question of whether we wants to come back or wants to go elsewhere and compete.
TerpSkin
It depends on whether the coaches truly feel Campbell is ready to be #2. If they definitely do think that than we will probably draft a QB on the second day or pick up a fairly no-name young QB who has been in the NFL for a couple years. Otherwise, we will almost certainly be looking for a fairly recognizable veteran QB. I certainly hope Campbell is ready for number 2, in which case I throw my vote towards acquiring FA Shaun Hill as our third QB. He is smart and mobile with decent arm strength and satisfies my Terp homerism
smashmowf
Jake Lorenzen....he could be the 3rd QB and insurance in case Dockery Leaves...... ...........j/k of course.

Cskin
I want Sage Rosefels back. The kid had moxie, mobility, and seemed to make plays where one really didn't exist. I wouldn't mind Tim Hasselbeck back either.... although he's not coming back to hold a clipboard as a third QB.

Hasselback (spelling?) could help us steal the Giants signals like he did against us when we played them. Cheat, Cheat always beat:laugh:

Warhead36
The way I see it, if it comes down to your 3rd stringer playing, you're probably screwed either way.
FootballGuy2677
Marcus Vick? Tell him if he messes up once, hes loses signing bonus money, if he messes up twice, he gets more signing bonus taken away and gets put on the trading block for the rest of the season and offseason, if he messes up three times he gets released. edgun88
Agreed, he should be 1st string. I thought Brunell was supposed to start next year? I mean Campbell is only a 2nd year player!
