Mickalino
Just had a physical exam. Doc says I'm a stout, healthy Stallion, with one exception - I gotta bring down my cholestorol. My total cholestorol is 227, and the goal is 199. My bad cholestorol is 162, and that goal is 99. So, Doc tells me I gotta stop eating those Deep-fried, buttered, Fat-filled Egg-balls, dipped in Lard and Mayo. So, what's your cholesterol # ? Raub
LOL. I wouldn't even worry about that number. Mine used to be right around 300. Diet and exercise didn't change it. I've been on meds for 5 years I guess. Only redeeming factor is my good cholesterol is also very high. Honestly now I don't even bother watching what I eat. Medication keeps it at a decent level. Same here. I was combined 290. Meds have it down around 180. I exercise somewhat regularly, but eat whatever comes my way.

Mickalino
dread to know what mine is It's better to know, and go in shock, and then do something about it, than not to know, and enjoy the bliss of ignorance, but suffer the consequences. In this case, what you don't know, CAN hurt you.

9_to_42_td
6 months ago mine was 220 and the bad was high. I cut out eating junk during the week and watched it on the weekends and it dropped back into the normal range. So there is still hope with diet and exercise without going on medication. Not saying its fun, but what are you going to do? Now I am back to eating junk and Halters wings. My suggestion is watch what you eat during the week, low fat foods like skinless chicken breasts and fish with rice and eat what you want on the weekends and special events. Its what you eat in between that counts. Cut out ice cream and chips, but never beer. You also will be amazed how the pounds will come off. Good luck. I am good til my next test. 9_to_42_td
Well young buck, if you don't get out from behind that playstation or this computer, you'll be worrying about it sooner than you think. They didn't have these gagets when we were your age, so we got alot more exercise. You can only play electric football so long. Watch them chips and cookies. hahahai laugh in you oldies face us ripe youngins dont worry bout that crap hehehe jk

Chief skin
Mine is high but and am pushing 50years old but, I love all the pizza, hoagies, chicken wings, beer, ice cream, all the food that you have to stop eating in oredr to be at healthy levels Gave up the cigarettes 15 years ago that is about the only healthy thing I have done. Why be miserable and healthy just to live longer and miss eating all the things you enjoy. I drop dead soon at least Iwill have been happy doing what I do
