Lavar costs us 100k why would we cut him for no savings? So cutting those guys saves us about 7 mil, if we are over by 20 mil, it looks liek we got some work to do... I have full faith that Gibbs and Snyder will find a way to get the players we need to be successful.
RabidFan
good information, thanks for the postcowboys dropping Larry Allen and Dat Nguyen is interesting Not really on Dat since he will retire....just like us cutting Noble.
SkinsTillIDie
Why would the Texans and Chiefs cut Domanick Davis and Priest Holmes respectively if those moves would cost more against the cap?
e16bball
Trevor Pryce, Gerard Warren, Sam Adams, and Ted Washington are all interesting names we might consider at the right price. As much as I like Salave'a, one of those monster space eaters would be a nice pick up, and Trevor Pryce is a perfect fit for what we like to do at DE. supersmartbrunell5
Marcus Robinson would be a good pickup if the Vikings cut him.

Trevor Pryce would be a perfect fit, and add Gary Walker to that list...he is a huge DEnd.

Sam Adams and Ted Washington has some age on them my pick would be Pryce if he's price is right but, something tells me he will be carrying a high price tag.. Radskinz
"Wr Laveranues Coles" hahaha....it would be nice if he comes back but i'm sure thats not gonna happen.
TheREALJBird
Well I think we have bigger things to worry about because right now a CBA extension is not going very well
jivelikenice
I can see Renaldo Wynn being cut. He's coming off of an injury PLUS we've burned off the majority of his bonus.
wilbur58z
Wynn's not getting cut. The fact that he'll cost little is a big reason for that....we don't save much at all by cutting him.
bricucci
9 million bucks in savings (not counting Lavar) looks like these folks will be moving on. I think all of them are expendable.

Looks like a bunch of our depth players will be new faces, hopefully he get atleast one diamond in the rough i.e. Clark, Marshall, Salavea, etc.
CRobi21
Cut all except the guy on top.
RIDETHEWALRUS
Is he serious? Domanik Davis will not be cut. The guy is a tremendous RB with good hands out of the backfield and isn't commnding star money. ESPN never seems to get it right
ChiefPowhatan17
Lavar costs million against the cap. If we cut him or trade him we are still penialized on the cap.
Tom [Giants fan]
I am sure they are assuming that Reggie Bush will be picked by the Texans which would lead to Davis being let go.
Eastlove
good information, thanks for the postcowboys dropping Larry Allen and Dat Nguyen is interesting Larry's are version of Lavar, overpaid, overhyped, underperforming. Take him with our blessing.
terpfan
Cutting Dom Davis would be stupid no matter who they draft. Hes a damn good back and they recently signed him to a pretty nice sized contract. No way they just cut him outright.
RIDETHEWALRUS
']I am sure they are assuming that Reggie Bush will be picked by the Texans which would lead to Davis being let go. I just don't buy it. Davis had 1300 all purpose yards in just 11 games last year. The year before he nearly had 1800 all purpose yards in 15 games. His cap cost isn't that much. The Texans would be out of their minds to release him.
Cskin
We complain about the lack of pass rush at times from the D-line, but I don't remember a whole lot of times when we were complaining about the run stuffing our D-Line was executing with Renaldo Wynn in the lineup. He's a terrific point of attack DE, and I don't believe his job is to get to the QB every time the ball is snapped.... it's one of containment. He's not going anywhere... and I'm thankful for that. As for the others.... how about we just wait and see. Some are obvious, like Raymer, possibly Hall because of injuries, and it appears Ramsey is moving in a different direction from the team.
