fdarugar
He might be the type of player we are forced to look at especially if we have to release Wynn and Daniels. The only problem with Lang is I think he dropped a bunch of weight and played OLB for the Browns which would not bode well for him in a GWill scheme (tweener). Temple
I thought they had been playing Lang at outside linebacker in Cleveland...and he's gotta be in his early/mid thirties by now. If he hasn't lost too much weight to play on the line, I'd take him back, but only as a backup d-end. He's all but certainly too light to switch between end and tackle like he used to. I used to love his motor, the way he'd lose his helmet, but still make those madman tackles without it in the backfield anyway...wonder if he's still got it. ChiefPowhatan17
Lang is older now and can we really afford to bring in more old veterans that cost alot.:helmet:
RDSCNZ20
i like lang.. i think he would be a good fit.. he can rush the passer and he is pretty solid against the run..

He is a blue collar guy that would fit with this team and the style defense we play.
GhostOfLamontHollinquest
I always liked Lang when he was here, for the most part. I think he would love to come back here, and if nothing else would bring a good attitude. Fit right in with the "U" boys, right?
SkinsHokieFan
He played OLB? Wow We had him at DT in 2001, and he had a terrific season If the price is right, why not bring him back, I think he would fit in very well also

Fifty Gut
I thought they would have released him long ago he left the Skins for a huge ass contract with the Browns, he has been grossly overpaid these last few years

Zuskin
You guys kidding? It's obvious he'll sign with Denver. The rest of the Browns line did.
Oldskool
He's 31 years old and had a grand total of 2 sacks last year. No thanks.
dockeryfan
I always liked Kennard Lang, but he is not the player you remember. If he comes here, he'll contribute, in the same way Stoutmire contributed this year. He did well most of the time, and he got a little dinged up as the season went on. The Full Monty
He's 31 years old and had a grand total of 2 sacks last year.No thanks. I'd take him on as a backup to provide depth. We learned the importance of depth, or lack thereof, last year didn't we?

You can get a rookie in the 2nd or 3rd round for depth that will provide the same type of production at 1/2 the salary.
LaVarGreen2856
He got his Payday, now come home for your ring.. Yeah! Agree... I always liked him... until he decided to go to the Browns. How old is he?

shallyshal
just saw the kennard lang was released by the browns. they tried to make a linebacker out of him the year after he recorded 8 sacks for them at DE. he played tackle for the skins and always gave good effort. you think he would be worth having back ? i do !! especially at vet minimum plus incentives..
