There is no need to leave a message that says, "Hey Hon, it is your mother. Just calling to talk. Call me back." I think most younger generations get this, not so much the baby boomers. My mom doesn't leave voicemails for me anymore because she knows I will call back if I miss her call. My dad, however, does still leave voicemails and they tend to be pretty wordy. Never heard of that. I would be scared it would screw up the translation. Like if your message said: "I got 2 packs of dip for the party. Do you think I should pick up some more? How about some Tostitos? The pregame and stuff are gonna start soon so let me know." It might read out as: "I shot 2 packs of dope for the party. Do you think I should pick up some whore? I am used to putting in hard work to make money. I did produce, grocery stocking, delivery, and janitorial work. This whole office setting is different for me.
