Renegade7
Had someone give me the three legs of a stool talk today (family, work, friends). With one of the programmers that always stays late joking to me about having a bed in the office somewhere, It was right on time. Loser mentality  This season was over before it started because we spent too much time thinking about next year instead of this year.

Koolblue13
Sounded more like you were ticked off nobody on here donated to your fundraiser and not friendly ball busting, just saying man. If you were joking, that's cool, I don't really know you that well on here, but definitely I'm not losing sleep at being called a mother****ing ****sucker on the internet. Wouldn't be the first time that happened Guess I shouldn't write anymore than a couple of sentences. So you don't have to quote a completely different post than the one you want to comment on. nah man. I would never curse like that if I was serious. I will eventually be doing a major fund raiser. For that I'll be really organized and probably start a thread. I'm pretty sure a few people in here did actually donate too, but I don't know real names. People have a right to do what they want with their money and I realize it's hard earned. Sorry if you thought my curse filled tiraid (how do you spell that) was serious. I was raised by a Catholic and a female Rabbi. I can do guilt pretty well. Ols.
Xameil
I'm just tossing out what the kid and I want to do for that room. That doesn't mean that it's going to happen, that **** is expensive, not so much the TV, but an air hockey table, **** is pricey. Depends in the quality. I saw some ok tables for around a hundred not too long ago
ixcuincle
In October and November, I can follow the NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, NHL and NASCAR. Add MLB in the spring. Is Bill Burr too much of a moron to be able to do that? It's like watching multiple TV programs. It's not that difficult. They're on at the same time... It's not theoretically possible to follow both. Plus basketball is boring anyway. Just jack up all the theees you want. Post game is dead. ****ing remember Shaq in the post ****ing dancing in the paint and then the hook bang Now it's all finesse sharpshooter like everyone in the nba is a long range specialist now. That's boring. I have stated this for years in this thread. We need to walk before we can run. I think some fans think we are always a coach away from contending. There is no reason they can't contend now. There is very little fan support for the wizards. Most people came to the game last night to watch curry and cheer against the wizards. Until people start coming to games to cheer the home team this franchise will be in the ****. I went to a wizards game for the snow globe and barely anyone was on the 400s . but more empty seats for me lol. Were like five people up there. Compared to the caps who sell out every game at Verizon it's not even close http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/10325177/kobe-bryant-los-angeles-lakers-calls-nba-finesse Kobe Bryant said it's been hard to watch the Los Angeles Lakers as they've struggled in his absence, but it turns out he doesn't like watching the NBA in general with the way it is currently being played and officiated across the league. "It's more of a finesse game," Bryant said before the Lakers played the Chicago Bulls on Monday. "It's more small ball, which, personally, I don't really care much for. I like kind of smash-mouth, old-school basketball because that's what I grew up watching. I also think it's much, much less physical. Some of the flagrant fouls that I see called nowadays, it makes me nauseous. You can't touch a guy without it being a flagrant foul." ___---_____ He's right... pjfootballer
What do you mean by Theoretically impossible? I was going back and forth between the Wizards and Terps games last night. Sometimes I'll DVR one game and watch it after, but the running ticker makes it impossible to not see the final score. I can watch a hockey game and switch to a baseball game very easily and know what is going on and get into the flow.
ixcuincle
I don't have cable at house two but I do understand your point. On the rare occasions I can watch cable at house #1 I flip all the time. It's just that it's not easy to follow sports without cable. People brag about cutting the cord but they don't realize if you get cable you can just flip between previous channel all the Time . yeah I was flipping between the news and ou lsu the other day

ixcuincle
Reading about this poor girl who was stabbed to death and it is a harsh wakeup call to the digital age we live in. I can't imagine how hard it must be to be a parent in this age. How do you handle technology and apps? Back in my day if you had a cell you were automatically assumed to be a drug dealer. We had the Internet but no Facebook or Twitter and social media was not existent. So there weren't as many threats as there were now, no Craigslist no tinder etc.
Elessar78
and they're playing Steve Vai's "Erotic Nightmares" next! Woo Hoo! When I'm independently wealthy I'm going to pay to produce and air shows on late night TV with titles like that. They'll be done in the campy soft-core style, but nothing sexual will ever happen. Scenes will lead up to what is assumed will be an "encounter" but it will turn out to be a simple, daily, innocuous moment.

Mark The Homer
If you live/work in Montgomery County, be careful today. There is some kind of police blitz going on. They're pulling anybody over for anything at all. This happens a few times a year and it's happening today.
