SkinsBry
No one but Billy Zane. Jason Priestley's character seemed a little light in the loafers, err a boots, as well.

That movie was great and no one from that movie "putts from the rough." Are you kidding? I just saw that movie on HBO two nights ago and it stank! The acting was terrible and the storyline was Disneyfied like crazy. Wyatt Earp only killed one person in his life before he go to Tombstone?!? When the redhead is talking semi-dirty to him he's all amazed and he's like "I've never heard a woman talk like that". Come on, it was the freakin Wild West and the painted them as choir boys. Doc Holliday was awesome, only good character/acting in that movie. You need to some some real westerns, my friend, if you think that was a good one. Kurt freakin Russell, give me a break. Larry
I just finished reading Robert Parker (also known as "Robert Parker creator of Spencer)'s book Gunman's Raphsody, which is supposedly a historically accurate (but fictional) portrail of those events. Good read, and included a lot of things I wasn't aware of. His portrail of Doc was very similar to Kilmer's. I kept imagining Val Kilmer while reading those scenes. One thing I liked about both Parker's book and Tombstone is that after The Gunfight, the story doesn't end and they all ride off into the sunset. The Gunfight had consequences later. Real westerns? Like John Wayne popping off bullets and landing 24 out of 24 in to the bad guys? Tombstone is a cinemetographic masterpiece. Based on a true story. The battle of the O.K. Corral was deamed to be the beginning of the end of corruption in the old west. All those characters existed, all of those events actually happend. Wyatt Earp was the ringleader of pimping the whole western half of the country. Kurt Russel is the man, Snake Blisken? Every scene in that movie is done very well. Of course Val Kilmer totally steals the show...but everything else is not far behind. It's meant to reach all kinds of audiences, not very unique as far as originality. But since when has quality HAD to coincide with making a movie unique as hell? It's very high quality. Maybe the pinnacle of Western movies as we knew them.
