10 Greatest Moments at Fedex Field

I was there for that "Big Daddy" Int return and it was (for it's time) the funniest/greatest moment in FedEx history.

It was just classic as Darrell Green escorted Big Daddy down the sideline looking for him to lateral the ball but Wilkinson would have no part of it and took it all the way.

Overall, I think the list is pretty solid and I agree with the number 1 spot. The showdown against Dallas on national TV with the playoffs on the line and we go out and lay the wood to them was easily the greatest moment for me at FedEX.

Overall a decent list of moments. I think the Giants game this year should've been higher up on the list, perhaps third. The games in 2002 mentioned were notable for the "aside-the-game" moments (70 Greatest Skins, Darrell's finale) but were otherwise forgettable. I can't even remember a damn thing about the Colts game. The Darrell finale was kind of marred by an inept Redskins team trying to keep a even-more-putrid Cowboy team in the game. As far as the LaVar game goes, I think they made a mistake......I don't remember the Banks-to-Gardner pass occurring THAT late. In fact, I thought Conway actually missed a FG in regulation that could've won it. A far better game that season was the following week against the Giants, and a game that may have been considered for the list was the 38-36 game in '99 against the Panthers, where the Skins rallied from a 21-0 deficit in the second quarter and eventually won the game late.

Come to think of it, aside from this season's heroics and the playoff game following the 1999 season, there is something sort of depressing about reading that list, in the fact that you have to recall how inept this team was until this past season.

Hokie, the game you were at was in '99......a great game. The one on the list was in 2001, where Martyball was putting everyone to sleep until Chris Weinke threw an ill-advised pass that LaVar returned, making him in many Redskins fans minds the greatest NFL linebacker since Dick Butkus.
