Heres my Washington Redskins mock draft. Ive been working on it and i really think this will be pretty good. Greg Blache himself said that he is happy with the group of defensive lineman they have when he was asked about it on the chat, But that dosnt mean they wont go after one. Please tell me what you think.

Round 2: Cedric Griffin/CB/Texas

6 Foot, 2 Inches 193 Pounds

I would be OK with this scenario, if we shored up some depth on the O-line, WRs and D-line through free agency, even if we weren't able to get starters. Drafting a CB first struck me as weird at first, but we do need to replace Harris, and eventually Springs, so I guess I can go for that.

Yea, i knew sombody would say that. He tackles well and covers well. Really underrated. Could play safety or cornerback at the NFL level. Nice hieght at 6 foot 2 inches. Problem is i think he could get alot of attention if he had a nice combine.

im actually a big fan of your mock here. If it turned out like this, then that would be great. I REALLY like Griffin, so if we get him I'll be happy enough.

We wont draft a safety, because sean taylor will not go to prison...

He's not a safety he's a corner, he's just flexible enough that he could play both. That's a good thing especially in our defense, Williams always talks about how important it is for players to be versatile. If Griffin is available at our pick I'd love him, we could use the depth in the secondary with Springs getting older. This could allow us to have a smooth transition like Philly did when Taylor and Vincent left the same year.

We also do have to consider a player like this who gives us depth at safety because we could potentially lose both starters with Clark in free agency and Taylor's legal issues. However I'm confident they'll both be back next season.

I'd be alright with that, but if and only if Taylor goes to Prison. If Taylor doesn't, then we should draft Darryll Tapp in the second and with the 6th take a corner.

Griffin is pretty sick though so I would definitely like that. Another Carlos Rogers-type corner who ain't afraid to knock someone around in run support.

A very good mock draft. My only disagreement is the choice of the TE. I would take a DL at that spot.

:applause:

Yea i actually had Eric Henderson there before T.J Williams but we honestly need another tight end and it would be cheaper to draft a good recieving tight end then to sign a good recieving tight end. Hes really good at getting open with nice speed and dependable hands. Its a nice pick up and would make our offence better.

People why draft a defensive end? Lets be honest here, we didnt lose againts seattle becuase our defence gave up 30 points did we?

P.S Daryll Tapp is a big reward or big bust type player, if he is a reward he is a above average defensive end who has trouble playing with people like johnathon ogden. If hes a bust he will have 1 sack each 3 years. 60% chance hes a bust with his size.

Besides, he isnt that great at stopping the run either so if you dont want running backs going Priest Holmes on us we shouldnt get him.

Not bad. I think Griffin goes before our pick - especially if teams think he can play corner. And I also think it's tough to predict what we do in the draft before seeing what happens with the CBA/Free agency. But hey - it's the offseason. :)

Haas is very intriguing. I think he's the type of player who, while not having tremendous upside, could make an immediate impact as a rookie.
