Larry
I saw a headline once of a magazine (Reader's Digets?) interview of Brosnan. "Yes, he's Bond. But he still can't drive a stick."
PokerPacker
i'm sorry, but that whole story says nothing about what he's gonna be like as bond. and further, they seem to gloss over that he wasn't whining about losing a few teeth. the fact is, he lost his teeth from a hit, that's not something he can prevent by being "tough", but i think the way he handled it was alright. it also appears that this whole article was written for the sole purpose of discrediting him as bond. at the end they just come up with a bunch of fake bond titles to make fun of him. fuji869
That sucks for him. Too bad Pierce Brosnan could not keep doing it, I thought he was the second best Bond.
Grimm
This new guy looks like he sucks even more than Pierce Brosnan, which is very hard to do.
Mooka
He'll be a good Bond. Go see Munich and Layer Cake. Pierce was a great Bond, but I thought all his movies sucked besides GoldenEye. Not his fault though. Martin Campbell (GoldenEye) is directing the new one so it should be great.
HSF
I think they could have chosen another guy for the job. Like for example the guy from Transporter 1 and 2. Also, did anyone see the new Bond girl? Can't believe she beat Charlese Theron!
PCS
I don't know. Somehow I don't think that getting 2 front teeth knocked out means right away that one is a whimp. Now, whether the man makes a good Bond or not is contingent on the movie itself. At least to me.
Larry
I would have listed Dalton as second best. I thought he lived up to the tagline on the poster "The Most Dangerous Bond". (And that one publicity still makes this guy look dangerous, too.) I liked some aspects of the Brosnan movies, but I think I liked the dialog more than his acting. "Was it something I said?" "How about 'I'll be right back'?"

honeydont
The best Bond ever was George Lazenby (Majestys secret service) Gosh that guy was so cool. He had that look in the corner of his eye that said is all this corny or what? But he could still pull it off with ease. The second best Connery. Pierce and Dalton-trash. Should I point out, for example: The first time we actually see Lazenby is immediatly after he gets beat up and the bad guys get away. His first line was "This never happened to the other fellow". I did like the music they wrote for that movie, though. And I see that you and I agree that Connery, Lazenby, Dalton, and Brosnan are the only actors to play James Bond. Roger Moore played The Saint. Mr. Nostril
It doesn't matter if he's a wimp. His real-life manliness has no effect on the end quality of the movie.

Larry
One scene I remember from reading Casino Royale in High School, that I hope they keep in the movie. When the Bad Guys capture Bond and Vesper Lynd, they secure Lynd by pulling her Little Black Dress over her head and tieing a knot in it. I'm really big on maintaining accuracy to the original book. I like him, but I definitely wouldn't want him playing Bond. He doesn't have the right attitude.
