FootballGuy2677
Heres another offseason thread about the draft. These guys may be drafted a little bit to high but i really think they could be great with us. 2nd Round: Mike Hass/WR/Oregon State 6 Foot, 1 Inch, 208 Pounds http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/mikehass.html 3rd Round: Victor Adeyanju/DE/Indiana 6 Foot, 4 Inches, 275 Pounds http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/de/victoradeyanju.html What do you guys think? mrchslmnky
I was a bit surprised to see a DE that was talked about that nicely predicted to go in the third round. A good pass rushing DE would improve our secondary tremedously. We would not have to constantly use DB's for a pass rush
roadkill
sounds like they would be good fits but I would not base my judgement on one scouting report.
Rogers22
I'm sure they would be good fits but every player that people bring up sounds like he would be a good fit.
RIDETHEWALRUS
I am unimpressed by both of their scouting reports. A WR who runs a 4.55 40 doesn't sound like he has the tangibles to be a #2 regardless of his tangibles. They praised the DE highly, and say that being a 4 yr starter is a +, but for weaknesses they say he is still raw. Ask yourself this, if he has started for 4 years and still is still raw, will he ever develop into a special player? If he has ?'s about his technique after 4 yrs of starting I don't think I would want him.

They havnt ran their real 40-times yet. Look at Usi Unimorya of the Giants, it took him awhile to develope but look at him now.
TriangleSkinsFan
Dwight Freeney took some time to develop also.
SkinsHokieFan
I will trust this coaching staff on who is a good fit for this team Honestly, besides Mike Barrow, every single personell move Joe Gibbs has made since coming back has panned out. And it has panned out very well It is exciting thats for sure

bmw2301
We better not get a mediocore WR with that 2nd pick, we need a DE, and we need to get Mannie Lawson out of NC State... 6'7'' very quick off the line.

FootballGuy2677
I want another Moss Same, ive actually been thinking how deadily that would be. They both look the same with a helmet too i think. That be really wierd having to look at their number wondering which guy you got Santana Moss or Sinorice Moss? Then having to remember was Santana Number 88 or 89? If your a defensive back. Kinda lame i know but still it would be cool:D . The offseason...
e16bball
I doubt Mike Hass will be a 2nd round pick, we could easily get him in the 3rd, and probably on the 2nd day.

Considering all the praise that Demetric Evans has gotten around here--- he had accomplished diddly squat prior to becoming a Redskins --- he was just a raw talent with a solid work ethic who was coachable. Adeyanju is a physical specimen who will only get bigger and stronger, is reputed to have a "great motor" --- "tons of upside" all he needs is to show he's coachable and hungry to improve. All the negatives about him, like having a lack of pass rush moves, etc., are things that Greg Blache and Gregg Williams can teach him.
mikalax2
I really don't think we will even draft a WR this year. Last year it was our biggest offensive need and we did not draft Mike Williams. Basically WR's take a couple years to develope and Gibbs knows we can win now with some good moves. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see us draft a WR in the second but I think Gibbs will get a veteran who can help right away.
TheMalcolmConnection
Speaking of Evans, I'd love to hang onto him to see JUST how much he's improved. I'd say to still go after a DE, but Evans had 2-3 sacks in just the last couple of games.
randythesofine
I rather have Eric Henderson from G-Tech. he has some durability issues which will force him to drop. I think he will be an excellent pick-up.
brandies
139 Victor Adeyanju DE 6-4, 268 Indiana 157 Mike Hass WR 6-1, 210 Oregon State Early - projected into 5th round

s0crates
These look like good prospects. Not only do they address team needs, but they both sound like they fit our hard-working mentality.
FootballGuy2677
ill take the DE i think we need a bigger receiver though. He seems like the perfect fit though, but if Martin Nance or Chad Jackson are avaible they would be great too. Defensive End can be solved with Victor Adeyanju but wed have to draft him a round earlier than projected becuase we dont have 4th rounder and he'll be gone by the 5th round let alone 22nd pick in the 4th round anyway.
