MSNBC - Kitchens named TE coach, completes Cowboys staff

RVING, Texas (AP) - Former Alabama quarterback Freddie Kitchens was hired as Cowboys tight ends coach Thursday, completing Bill Parcells' staff.

Kitchens spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Mississippi State after three seasons with North Texas. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Glenville State College in West Virginia in 1999, then was on Nick Saban's staff at LSU in 2000.
