carlsbadd
Coles made a huge signing bonus from both the Redskins and the Jets so a restructure will not make much of a difference to him. The bigger question is who is going to be getting him the ball next year. The Pennington contract is huge and they need to restructure that also. I don't know why everyone here is laughing cause LC is laughing too...all the way to the bank. He has gotten one righteous payday after another and this is just going to mean one more for him. Inigo Montoya
I'm Laughing B/C he was punk when he left and B/c he is going to be a part of a "rebuilding phase" with no-account QB throwing him 50 balls a year!!!!
Gamebreaker
Coles doesn't care about a paycut, he's made more money than Terrell Owens and isn't half the reciever. This guy has hustled the Jets and Redskins ever since he's been in the league.
Warhead36
Meh, in a way I kind of have respect for Coles. Instead of ****ing to the media like TO, he kept the problem in house. I don't agree with his issues, but he didn't want to be here, and he didn't make a big fuss about it, for that I'll give him props. I also love him because he netted us Santana Moss. To Laveranues Coles: THANK YOU for helping us hustle the Jets out of Moss. You know maybe us trading Coles was some big undercover STING operation? Okay I've watched too much 24. moondog
Well in that case, good for LC but he's stuck in NY now with his boy Pennington who can't benefit coles' speed anyway cuz he can't throw more than 30 yards. I think we all know (both players and teams) who got the better deal outta this. And I dont necessarily think Coles is ALL about $ so he probably wishes he was with a better team right now too. We hit the playmaker lottery.

Jon T.
The Redskins contract was not a bad move by the team. He was delivering on it before the foot injury.
