gchwood
I am a republican, as is my wife (she used to work at the White House in the Public Liasons Office and at the RNC setting up meetings with religious leaders, where she met the Dahli Lama) We support Bush and still are trying to figure out why everything is always his fault if he personally has nothing to do with it. Thanos
How about asking who's been "in theater" and who had not.Lots of folks talk s*** and do it from the comfort of their homes. While others have been on multiple deployments to the war. Taylor 36
I am a Republican. I can't say in any way that I support all Republican candidates on every issue, but I definitely support most of the issues and candidates. I do support Bush 100%. I am not a service member, but my father served in the Navy for 35 years. His father served in the Navy for 13 years and died Active Duty. Therefore, I feel a strong military connection (having lived on bases all over the world growing up). Even if I was not raised a Navy brat, I could not imagine not having 100% support of our troops. It disgusts me how naive, ungateful, and pathetic some of my fellow Americans are.

airborneskins
9 years active duty Army. 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. Spent most of my time in the military at Fort Bragg, NC with a year in Korea mixed in there (2000 - 2001) I got out of the Army last March because I did not want to miss anymore of my 2 kids lives. I now work for the DOD as a civilian contractor working inteligence. And yes, I support Bush.
Gallen5862
I am a Republican and support President Bush. I was also in the North Carolina Army National Guard from 1981-1987.I was a Combat Medical Specialist or Medic. I did get stationed in Italy for Two weeks when our unit was called up for duty. We were the first unit that bought all our equipment to Europe and brought everything back.

darrell1106
I'm USAF but not a GOP. Of course this thread is for the GOPers (don't mean to but in) but doesn't it concern you that our commander in chief is a little lacking in the foreign policy department? Him and his cabinet is behind the military 100% but as a current leader of the wonderful blue & white I'm just a little concerned about the posture of our military. Just being honest! Air Force Cane
no need to apologize Darrell. Rock on USAF! As to his experience, I think 9/11 and the last four years have given him more experience in military/diplomatic matters than just about any other President we have had other than Washington, Lincoln and FDR... Most forget that he was a LT in the Air Guard, went to officer school, and was a very good fighter pilot. Not like he just woke up someday and was the President.. Most forget that he was a LT in the Air Guard, went to officer school, and was a very good fighter pilot. Not like he just woke up someday and was the President.. Yeah it was cool that he was a fighter pilot. I think that is every pilot's dream job; to fly for the national guard while actually having a life outside of flying 28 hours a day. I think now that the Eastern world is starting to really send a message of "zero tolerance" to democracy, I wonder if he should start using that as leverage to rein in on all these different nation states and start mending ties with the nay sayers of the war against terrorism. We have alienated most of the western world ever since 9/11 and its about time we make sure they still agree w/ the ultimate goal; DEMOCRACY:applause: I'm behind our CC regardless but I really don't agree w/ how he represents the U.S. when speaking on the GWOT. That's all and I hope you guys have fun at D&Bs.
