andyburd
I was just watching that goofy show and they were all asked if the Eagles were going to be backon top next year. They all responded with no, their DONE. Woody, Bill and Jay all said they had their chance four straight years, and didn't get it done. I don't usually agree with these goobers, but I laughed like hell. See ya later Beagles, losers again. No trophy for you

Oldskool
I personally don't agree with them. The Eagles will be just as dangerous as ever next year. They won 6 games inspite of the TO disaster and multiple injuries. Dont underestimate them. That would be a mistake.

I wouldn't be surprised if neither of those players are back. Runyan has stated he wants to get his payday. Typically, that doesn't happen to aging Eagles linemen. Tra is coming off back surgery, so there is a lot of uncertainty about his durability. They've drafted like 20 gazillion linemen in the last few years. Herremans, Derelick, Furio, Andrews, Jamaal Jackson, Clarke. If Herremans doesn't get a shot now, what the hell did they draft him for? Andrews was a big mistake, because he was supposed to be able to switch over to Tackle, but his weight problem persists. He's too fat and slow for tackle. They used the 16th pick on a guard. Warhead36
I'm not really worried about looking at the other teams in the division. If we do what we're capable of they'll all be looking at us regulating the top of the NFCE regardless.

Lil Kenzo
I wouldn't say that they are done...but their dominance over the NFC East is over and done with. All they gained this season was age and injuries. Not to mention that they lost a very significant part of their offesne in TO. Eagles fans are going to argue that the Eagles aren't done and that even without TO they were able to make it to the Conference Championship games three straight years. That is true. BUT, this eagles team isn't going to be anywhere near where they were even before TO came to town. The NFCE is Much much more improved while the Eagles are becoming suspect. Oldskool
The Eagles will always be strong. I can't believe people are under-estimating them. Exactly. As long as they have McNabb, Jimmy Johnson as their DC, their FO drafting wisely and keeping their salary cap under control, they are going to be dangerous. One bad year doesnt mean that their organization is falling apart underneath their feet.

One bad year doesnt mean that their organization is falling apart underneath their feet. Sure...they will be dangerous, but just not dominant. The NFCE doesn't belong to the Eagles anymore. They have to earn it. And with everything that they had to go through this past season with injuries and the TO situation. I don't see them regaining their place at the top and having the division wrapped up before the end of the season anytime soon.
kreitmaster
It made me happy to hear these guys say that the Eagles were done for awhile. However, unfortunately i am not so optimistic. They still have a solid team.

I don't see them regaining their place at the top and having the division wrapped up before the end of the season anytime soon. This pretty closely mirrors my thoughts. The Eagles are no longer the class of the NFC, or even the NFC East. They will continue to be a dangerous team, and will threaten for a playoff spot for years to come. They are likely to even with the NFC East a time or two more in the coming years, but I don't see any more 12-4 seasons with a 6-0, or even 4-2 romp through the NFC East anymore..... We're going to be seeing a 8-8 team with a few lucky breaks here and there that may push them to 9-7 or even 10-6. Or maybe some unlucky breaks pushing them the opposite direction. No trophy for you The truth is usually these idiots are 100% wrong so this worries me that the Eagles might be better than expected. The NFC east is going to be really tough for all teams next year because NY,Dallas. Skins should all get better and I think Philly is far from done. Who said he can't move to tackle......just because he played there this year, you have to remember, Runyan was there.
