Quick question for everyone...

I most likely missed this post, but I was watching game film of the Seattle playoff game, and near the end of the game Sean Taylor went down with a injury and the training staff surrounded him as if it were serious, alhtough Taylor did return. Can anyone provide insight as to what happened, was it a "stinger" or something that could linger? Thanks

He caught a stinger when he hit the guy. If you've ever played football you would know that to give a big hit sometimes means taking one back as well.:)

Newton's 3rd Law of Motion: "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction." Hit someone with 800 pounds of force, and you get hit with 800 pounds of force. The key as a defensive player is to jump up quickly and pretend that the laws of physics don't apply to you, convincing the pour schmuck laying in the turf that he took the combined 1600 pounds of force.

Hey smarty pants, It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this one out, whether you've played football or not! Youre not that guy from Napolean Dynomite are you, the uncle who's still living in his high school football days?

What's a stinger? if you hit someone be prepared to hurt when you hit.

The training staff all surrounding a player does not mean its a serious injury. It just means first inclinations werent the best. The NFL always takes the biggest precautions when it comes to possible injuries, and you will see many times the whole staff comes out then the guy comes back in not that much later.
