Loyal2Washington
I'll be a little miffed if Manny Lawson is picked one spot AFTER us in the third. See David Pollack in Cincy. Great motor, knows the game, just physically on the weak side and it's not like he's growing another 3-4 inches in a year or two. :dallasuck :gaintsuck :eaglesuck

Fred288156
See David Pollack in Cincy. Great motor, knows the game, just physically on the weak side and it's not like he's growing another 3-4 inches in a year or two. Pollack plays LB in Cincy who lines up as a DE in passing situations. This is precisely what you'd get from Lawson, which is why I think he might actually fall to the 3rd. Pollack is 2 inches shorter and almost 25 lbs heavier, btw. Even as an NCSU fan and alum, I'm a little wary of his prospects as a DE. Again, for at least a year (prob more) he could only help out on obvious passing downs. Plus, he's only played DE for two years and for both of those years he lined up with an all-ACC DT (John McCargo) and a complete monster on the other end (Mario Williams). I only bring this up because A LOT of posters on this site are in love with the guy. Don't get me wrong, at NCSU his athleticism was something else - down the road he might put on a lot of weight and be the man for some team. I just don't think he's worth our 2nd rd pick and not worth the 3rd rd pick unless we've already addressed the position in the 2nd or through free agency. brandies
LB~ Dale Robinson~Arizona State--6'1" 235 pound outside linebacker from New York City, paced Arizona State with 93 tackles and 13 tackles for losses in 2004. Also added 4.5 sacks and 1 Int. Physical specimen is nicknamed "manimal", because he loves to hit. Will move to middle linebacker, but this former JUCO player showed excellent agility and ball skills at outside linebacker in 2004.
e16bball
If we get Cedric Griffin and Jeff King in the 6th, it will be amazing. Just to be picky, I would rather take Skyler Green or Spencer Havner in the 5th than Robinson. Green would be a definite KR candidate and Havner is just a better LB. brandies
Scott Ware http://usctrojans.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/ware_scott00.html 2005: Ware likely will start at free safety as a senior in 2005. 2004: Ware, who came to USC in the fall of 2004 from a junior college, was an often-used, promising safety as a junior in 2004 before an injury slowed his progress. He also played on special teams. Overall in 2004 while appearing in 7 games (Colorado State, BYU, Stanford, California, Notre Dame, UCLA and Oklahoma), he had 16 tackles and a deflection. He even started 3 times (Colorado State, BYU and California) at free safety when starter Jason Leach had to move to strong safety for an injured Darnell Bing. He had 12 tackles against California and 3 versus Colorado State. He sprained his left foot, knee and ankle against California and missed USC's next 5 games. JUNIOR COLLEGE: He was a 2003 J.C. Lead Blocker
Virtually impossible to complete an accurate 7 round Mock, especially this early. The combine and early free agency always alter needs. Anyhow, it atleasts gives a feel for how somebody out there values the incoming class of rookies. What's up with the 2 picks in the 6th? Did they give an explanation?
