He is an UFA in 2006, who played last year for the minimum. So I would expect him to play this season again for the minimum or not much above.

Expect Al Saunders to bring him aboard as our 5th WR this year -- to play special teams and to help teach Saunders system to the other WR's.

He is a big 6-3 receiver but is fast. Had a monster season in 02 with 8 touchdowns in the red zone, including a 99 yard TD reception. Then he torn up a knee and hasn't been able to break into the starting lineup. A former CFL player if memory serves me correct. :D

He played with the Calgary Stamps. I remember the 03 season.... and then he fell off the map.

Are you sure he's a special teams guy?

Yea thats not a bad idea, bring in a Former Kansas City Chiefs wide reciever in to Washington to help our other recievers learn the system better. While he can play special teams and help a bit in the passing game.

but are you saying his knee injury is one of the knee injuries that ruin careers(like Warrick Holdmans?)

Rangy wideout enters his fourth NFL campaign with the Chiefs … Possesses a combination of height and speed that presents match-up problems for opposing defenses … Sure-handed receiver is difficult to defend as a third receiver working out of the slot … Physical performer whose height and leaping ability make him especially dangerous in the Red Zone …

Came to the Chiefs vastly more polished than most first-year NFL performers after honing his skills for two seasons with the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders where he registered 111 catches for 2,023 yards with 19 TDs during the 2000-01 campaigns, helping lead the squad to a Grey Cup title in 2001 … Owns 31 games (two starts) of NFL experience, catching 31 passes for 578 yards (18.6 avg.) with eight TDs, ... This is the guy Frost Laid out. I'd pass but I can actually see this happening.

We'll see what happens.

 I'll bet his one condition for joining the team is that Frost is gone!! (which will happen, hopefully!) He'll never live that down in the Skins' locker room!!

inmate running the asylum.... have I told you lately you're my favorite poster?

Does that mean something to you?!

Yeah it does. Really. :paranoid:

Now if Vinnie Cerrato will only sign that other Canadian........ punter Jon Ryan (50.6 avg)........ who I imagine you are familiar with up there in Canada, I will really get excited about the 2006 season. :D

Isn't it ironic that as the community gets bigger... which should probably INCREASE the likliehood of getting those types of posts.... those types of posts have diminished?

It's a beautiful thing :)
