kappaluvacee
I think Bill Walsh had the greatest coaching staff ever. Simply look at all his disciples working in the league as HC or coordinators currently.

21dave
The 1994 (I think, whatever their last year was) Browns staff was ridiculous. Belicheck, Weiss, Crennel, Saban, LaFrentz, Bates were all there. Plus Newsome, Pioli, and Phil Savage in the Front Office. Of course, the didn't do all that much with it. bubba9497
Lombardi was the OC and Landry the DC for the NY Giants in the 50s. yep, and a couple other less sucessful HC as assistants I believe. It is probably the best right now in the NFL
Dirk Diggler
Posted this in another thread: Having coaches who are “overqualified” for their positions is a big reason why this staff might be the best ever. Feel free to help me out: HC: Gibbs – Need I say more? Ok I will – only active coach currently in the HOF DC: Greg Williams – HC experience (still wanted as an HC) and widely considered a top 3 defensive minds OC: Al Saunders – HC experience (current HC candidate) and considered among the top 5 offensive minds Oline: Buges – HC experience DLine: Greg Blache – DC experience who has interviewed for HC positions LB: Dale Lindsay – DC experience
Chants
Weren't Coryell, Gibbs, and Saunders all coaching together with the Chargers in the late 70's? That's a pretty good trio.
