ThatGuy
Given that a few days has passed we might as well do our poll for the Redskins MVP for the 2005-06 season. If you recall, we did this at the midseason point and Mark Brunell came out on top with 56.6% of the vote, followed by Santana Moss with 39.7%, no one else had more than 2% of the votes. So who was the MVP of the 2005-06 season? If I miss someone on the poll, add them in with your post.
Drex
Santana Moss, IMO, was the MVP this season. His playmaking ability was a major difference maker between the offensive performance of this past year and the putrid one of 2004.
SkinnedUntilRed
1) Santana Moss - this guy is electric. If we had Toeverneus this year instead of him we wouldn't have had a prayer on offense. 2) Mark Brunell - What can I say? The guy led us to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in a long time after a dismal year. How anyone can dislike this guy as both a person or a QB is beyond me. He did it with one great WR and one great H-back. With another good WR on the roster we would've easily made the Super Bowl. >Pray for Reggie Wayne next year< :notworthy 3) Clinton Portis - we NEED this guy. :point2sky

Grimm
In the truest sense of "Player most valuable to the team" it has to be Santana Moss hands down, taking him off the team would have by far the biggest impact than losing any other player
Donita35
I say Moss because without him we would have had no open receivers.
DCNightHawk
Cooley. He was a beast this year. He was the a big factor in our offense.
KillaCam21
Cooley. He was a beast this year. He was the a big factor in our offense. Cooley was NOT the MVP. He's a good player, but how can you say he is more valuable than Moss, Portis, Washington, Griffin, or Taylor?
ChiefPowhatan17
Moss won alot of games for us.:helmet::helmet::helmet:

But Clinton portis has got to be this years MVP. Santana Moss boosted us alot but during our wins and on the five game win streak who did we rely on?? Who carried the offense on his bruised shoulders to the playoffs?? Clinton Portis did. He brought this team together with his goofy costumes. CP was the MVP no doubt. H-O-G
It has to be Santana Moss, because the difference he made to this team
Future_Redskins_QB
hard decision but i have to say portis he has the full package. he runs, passes, blocks and receives. he also plays with a lot of heart. Look at the pounding he takes every week and he just soldiers on and keeps playin through injury and through pain
China
I almost voted for Randy Thomas because it was clear in the last two games how much we missed him. But it was also clear in the middle of the season how much we missed Cornelius Griffen, so he got my vote.
mcarey032
I agree that portis is probably what was most consistent in our season. But Moss did make a difference in our wr corps. I voted for Portis becasue he gutted out a great season.
