TheNewU
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/teamReport?categoryId=67062&type=InsideSlant DAMN Salary cap issues, wasn't there a thread on here saying we could be $10 million under the cap, I don't see how that's possible, no way were gonna rework everyones contracts
TheNewU
we're a pretty young team if only 2 of our players are over 31, too bad one of those people is our starting QB, he needs some robot legs.
chaz13
On the cap I defer to PC at Warpath. He had two recent articles on the cap. It doesn't look like we are in the shape that the national media says we are in. http://redskins.scout.com/2/490049.html http://redskins.scout.com/2/482405.html
Warhead36
Typical media cap hell. We were supposed to be in one after 2000 never happened. After 2003 never happened.
mikeyf316
I've got to say, that was an honest and fair critique. Thanks for posting that link.

Die Hard
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/teamReport?categoryId=67062&type=InsideSlantDAMN Salary cap issues, wasn't there a thread on here saying we could be $10 million under the cap, I don't see how that's possible, no way were gonna rework everyones contracts Yeah, me either. I mean, why would players convert unguaranteed "salaries" to guaranteed "bonuses" just to help the team out. Are your freaking kidding me? Of course every single last player is going to rework their contract to (1) guarantee their money and (2) get it up front, right now. As much as it helps the team..... it's in the player's best interest moreso. You have a lot to learn about cap understanding.
CurseReversed
gotta like those reports, if they are accurate it seems as if maybe we will have some cap space to pursue some free agent talent

PleaseBlitz
Seriously, one or several of the mods/HoF's should write up a 1 page concise explanation of the salary cap and sticky it to the front page for the duration of the off season. Then when these threads are inevitably started, instead of 25 posts explaining the cap, a single link can be posted.
TLusby
As much as it helps the team..... it's in the player's best interest moreso. You have a lot to learn about cap understanding. Absolutely! How many out there would want their salary paid in upfront cash for the start of the year?
