A young guy who hasn't reached his potential, not necessarily the answer at the #2 WR spot but could be a nice utility guy with Patten

Antonio Bryant

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5949

My favorite choice to fill the spot. Not as expensive as Wayne but the guy has even more potential, he is big and fast and consistantly had good games this season. He is only 24 years old. The only knock on him is he is an ex cowboy.

Antwan Randle El

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5948

Has a similar skill set to Santana Moss and does alot of little things. Not exactly the prototype #2 wideout but could be a great pick up. I am not that sold on Randle El but many people are, I think he could be the biggest bust pick of the FA WR litter.

Brandon Lloyd

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6460

This kid has got huge upside. The only problem is he is a RFA, don't expect the 9ers to let the best player on their team to leave if they have control over him.

David Givens

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6115

Young, big, consistant, shows up in big games. This would be a great pick up for our #2 guy. Has Joe Gibbs player written all over him, maybe Patten could lure him here?

Jabar Gaffney

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5919

He is a decent #2 guy. Nothing really special here, would be a good pick up but nothing to get excited for. Also a former Florida Gator...no explanation needed there...

Joe Jurevicius

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4314

People on Extremeskins seem to think he would be a godsend for this team. He could be had for a decent salary but he is old and I really don't think we could utilize him the same way Seattle does.

Keenan McCardell

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4314

This guy is consistant, a has history with Brunell and was drafted by Gibbs. He is 36 years old and won't demand a huge contract, he could be a good short term solution here.

Koren Robinson

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5456

His guy is totally boom or bust. He has had a couple great seasons and is a born again christian. I think Gibbs will have to take a look at him cuz he could be had at a decent contract and could become a big playmaker again, he certainly showed flashes of brilliance this year.

Reggie Wayne

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5477

This guy is going to demand a big contract but his skills are undeniable. He is only 27 and is regarded as the best #2 option in the league. I bet Danny is drooling all over this guy. I have a feeling we will be in the hunt for Wayne, at the least.

Wild Cards

Jimmy Smith

Terrell Owens

David Boston

Eric Moulds

I would like to have Moulds, but he might have a problem with being a number 2. Santana is the uncontested #1 here!

Lloyd, I don't know. I think he could be good. He has not been set up for success thus far in his career in San Fran.

I would really like to see us get a big bidied possession WR. Gardner was perfect, but he couldn't catch

We just need someone who can take attention from SM.

Be nice if we could get a good WR and let Patten play #3.

I don't know...I can't wait though. I am excited to see who we get and what we do in the offseason.

Joe Gibbs is always so political, but the offseason s where you really find out what he was disappointed in.

I rather draft Martin Nance.

http://www.nflfans.com/x/2006/showplayer.php?key=Martin%20Nance

Antonio Bryant is a wuse, you wanna know why Bill Parcells traded him for a 6th string wide reciever? He was scared to take a hit. Forget about him.

My top 3 choices have to be:

(Draft)1.Martin Nance- 6 foot 5 inches tall, good hands, runs a 4.33 and holds Miami(Ohio) all-time recieving yards record.

(Free Agency)2.Antwaan Randle El- Was a number 2 for pittsburgh since Plaxico Burress left. A kick/punt returner.

(Restricted Free Agency)3.Brandon Lloyd- Can make the circus catch and is 6 foot 0 inches tall and is listed at 198 pounds probally over 200 pounds. Loads of potential.

Nance would be a great selection...you seem to be the founder of the Martin Nance Fan Club...I don't really understand how you can deny the talent of Bryant though. The guy had over 1000 yards without a stable QB situation. Plus I bet he would love to come to the NFC East and burn the Tuna. :2cents:

When did Koren Robinson become a born again Christian? Was it after his drunken driving thing, or was he just sloshed off of the Communion wine? hehe.

I like Keenan McCardell, he is a tremendous possession reciever. He isn't a gmae breaker by any means, but he would be a tremendous outlet for Brunell. MB didn't look for his other recievers often, probably because he had no faith in them. McCardell is a guy you can trust to catch it if its thrown his way. Has some size too.

Don't forget that Koren Robinson had that same syndrome in Seattle, forcing Holmgren to jettison him because he was unreliable and in trouble.

He definitely has upside.... is fast and big. It would have to be a short deal with incentives so he could further grow into Gibbs' type of player.

As for the rest.... since I'd like a big body to go over the middle and catch the chain movers.... I don't think I'd look at anyone else. Maybe this Nance kid people are talking about... or Stovall from Notre Dame.

Funny that you're 21 and calling some of them Kids, ahah.

I think Randel El will stay with the steelers. I agree that Anotonio Bryant would be a great addition, and do you remember why he got traded from the cowboys . HAHA. Regie Wayne will not be a redskin, don't even say that please before I start my own "Official , Reggie Wayne won't be a Redskin"

Yes McCardell would be a nice pick-up but with this conservative offence we run here in Washington, i think we need game-breakers to turn this 8 yard pick ups into 13 or 20 yard pick ups like Santana Moss can do. Sinorice is pretty good at this himself...no hope in getting him though unless he fails miserably in his workouts. Or Brandon Lloyd, Randle El, or Martin Nance would be good ones.

I like Moulds, but I'll tell you what, none of you seem to think that David Boston is any good. Yes, he has had some injuries, but I think he would fit in nicely. We need a big posession receiver. Stop all this crap about us needing another speed receiver.
