shif7y
He told everyone he was going to hit people when he had the chance. I guess their linebacker wasn't paying attention to his press conferences.

C-Note
If it is his only chance to fully level someone he took to chance and nailed him well!
KillaCam21
That was a lot like his hit last week against the Eagles in his first play back after getting horsecollared. We need to include these hits in his highlight films. He's a beast!
Redsknz4life
That's what I'm talking about CP....I bet they won't try blitzing to that side again...coming all soft!!:wavetowel

macnoke03
It looks like Portis may have aggravated his shoulder when he laid out Quarles. He has hardly played!
meetST
we have to make sure he's fresh for our next playoff game.....hehehe
TheGuru10
He needs the rest in the first half, b/c in the 2nd it's going to be Clinton Left, Clinton Right, Clinton Up The Middle, FIRST DOWN!!! Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.....
ERIC THE REDskinsfan
LIstening to the 980 halftime show right now...Bram isn't sure about CP. Man we need the horse for the 2nd half... HTTR
KDawg
I don't think CP is hurt at all. He's been out like this quite a few times during the season. Remember, the idea behind Gibbs' rushing offense is to wear the other team out, but in doing that, you wear your team out. Use two backs and the wear is cut in half. hail2skins
Seems like in the first game Betts played a big role in the second half, even after CP had his monster start. I don't mind mixing it up on the Bucs.
KillaCam21
Hopefully, we're wearing the Bucs down by using both backs so that in the second half the Bucs defenders will be reluctant to tackle us.

PersonsFan
I guarantee they are saving him. They do not want to repeat the midseason stuff where the offense was unable to get any first downs with a lead in the 4th. They want him fresh. Grinder
Risky strategy if that's the case. We need first downs NOW or there might not be a lead to cover in the 4th...

killadingo
I think he knocked himself out on that hit too....I can't figure out why he'd be out of the game and on the sidelines unless its a concussion.

santanamoss89
They must be saving him. One of the announcers just said "the Redskins keep telling us their is nothing wrong with Clinton Portis". I disagree with resting him though. EDIT: Hes back in now.
