WeBB15 Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 I went on aim today and put in to my fellow bucs friend(I mean hes a fan, he always wears jerseys, got memorbilia in his room, etc.), and typed "Ready for bucs 2 lose tomorow", and he said "hahah i dont really care if they win if they dont im not actually on team lol"... then I said youre a disgrace as a fan lol. Then he went on to say no point in arguing, and "wow, lol ur pretty excited about it" like Im the dumb one for being a fan of football. WHAT?! After hes been talkin smack almost every otehr week of NFL, now hes acting(or maybe hes not a true fan) like hes nto excited and could care less. At the start of the week, I was thinking we had an even money chance at winning this game. Now, I'm giving them about 30%. It's a perfect storm of problems the Bucs are going to run into tomorrow: a strong, physical running back who has a history of shredding their defense, a young and inexperienced quarterback, a shaky offensive line, only one real threat to speak of at wideout, etc. I'm happy to have made it this far, and you can bet I'll be screaming my all at the TV tomorrow for the Bucs to win...but, I'm realistic about how things are going to be. It's not fan apathy, it's understanding where you are on the totem pole of NFLdom. The Bucs had their time in 2002...if they get Simms locked in after this season, get some help on the O-Line and in the defensive front, it could be there time again very, very soon.
