JtheRock1
The Redskins are probably the worst team in the playoffs this year (in both conferences) however the NFC is very bad this year and the talent is very even so even the worst team can beat the best team come playoff time which means that the Redskins have as good a chance as anyone technically. The Redskins are playing good football right now, but are most likely a one and done team. The victory today was as close as you can come to "backing into" the playoffs without actually doing so as they had to rely on Philly handing them the game. If Brunell plays like that in the playoffs then the Skins may very well get shut out once again especially against a good defense like Tampa's. TaylorPickSix
You, sir, are not a true Redskins fan. You go 5-6 and win FIVE straight, including the last three all against the division, and we don't deserve to go to the playoffs? Go root for the Patriots. We don't want you. If you can't just be happy and celebrate the fact that we're in, then you aren't a 'Skins fan.
PCRoughrider
Think about it. This team had an off game today, and STILL scored THIRTY-ONE POINTS and won by ELEVEN. That's the sign of a good team. To have a relatively bad day and STILL win handily. Celebrate, Redskin Fans. We are going to the dance. I'm happy. I feel better. It's good to win. Ghost of
Skins deserve to go because they're in, had calls rob them of a game that would have been over if the right calls had been made at the end and didn't get an extra home game. Look, the Skins won 10 games this year. I agree that we should have won 11 or 12, but it is what it is. Now, we just gotta hope guys get healthy and a certain position starts playing well. Biggest thing is to get loose not that we made the playoffs. But we deserve to be there. How could you watch everything that happened, look at how close last night we were to winning the DIVISION today and say that?

Yeah lets ignore him playing thru the knee injury and how the skins had over 300 yds of offense against tampa last earlier in the year and it took two bad calls for tampa to win. We are doing more with less with alot of banged up players. Wow I actually made it thru the response without calling a poster's intelligence, team loyalty or age into question
MEXSKIN1
I can't be happy after watching this game. Maybe later, I'll feel better but I didn't want this team to just stagger into the playoffs with a performance like this.Right now, I don't feel like we won. We won believe it, it's not easy to win all the games easily, but we won and just think about it if we have won to easily we would probasbly not appreciate it

Dude we won the damn game and that is all what we had to do. Jeez! I guess the Giants don't deserve to be in the playoffs either since they were taken to OT against the same team. Funny thing is we have heard this kinda stuff for 5 straight week's......... sorry it hurts you so much to know the skins are going to tampa. We will see what excuse you post in week six i'm sure it will be entertaining.
a_good_brotha
C'mon brotha, call a spade a spade. It wasn't a controversial call, it was an INCORRECT call. I agree with you. I just didn't want to start that firestorm again.
Walking Deadman
Eagles are a divisional rival and a regular Thorn in the side...... THey played well and we struggled, had this been earlier in the year, the team may have lost this one. But they stepped up with no Rogers, Springs and Jimoh and with Brunell banged up. Portis got (I believe) his first 100 yd rush game against an Eagles team that even now stifles the run. Yes, they DO deserve to go to the playoffs-- just like the Giants deserved the NFCE. THe Skins won the games to get there (including sweeping Dallas). Do you think Dallas, Atlanta or Minny (the closest runners-up) deserve to go? NO, they didn't win the games to get them there. Yeah, I was really worried about this game and I was extremely frustrated that in the 1st half I had to stop watching the game twice just to cool off......BUT THIS TEAM WON THE GAMES THEY NEEDED TO AND DESERVE TO BE THERE!!!!!!! In honest truth, I would have been happy with a 9-7 or 8-8 record at one point.
Tarpon75
Every team that is in the playoffs has won games like that this year.Games that weren't pretty but a team managed to pull it out.How many teams wouldn't have a bit of a let down after winning 2 tough division games back to back?I for one am thrilled with this Redskin team! spm
The Eagles are a dangerous team--I was worried we would take them lightly. However, even with all of our injuries, we still won by 11 points. If we can get a healthy CB (Springs or Rodgers), we should be able to take the bucs.
