barry wilburn
It would make perfect sense. Brunell is washed up. Ramsey is a solid back-up. And Campbell needs a few more years to develop. Let's trade Lavar for Carson Palmer. Palmer is younger than Peyton Manning and is a better passer than Vick. He's the only player I can think of who is even in a class with LaVar, so it would be a perfect trade for both teams!!!
skns4life
What makes you think that the Bengals would trade a young MVP canidate for a player like Lavar? The Bengals without Carson is like The Skins withouth Gibbs.

That would be swell!!

chairmangao
Carson got a huge extension, plus we already invested a first pick in Jason Campbell, who we are hoping will be able to play like Palmer when he is called upon in a season or two. zallera
First off, any front office would be laughed out of the league for trading a franchise quarterback for a linebacker, even if his name is LT. Second, Marvin Lewis didn't like coaching Lavar here, what makes you think coaching him in Cincy would be any different?
Westbrook36
The Eagles are trying to get Arrington. Over the last few years, one of the biggest rumors has been that they are trying to get Urlacher. If we can't get either, we are going to get a combination of them both:
HOF44
Yeah, so? Lavar signed a huge extension not so long ago as well. It's perfect! If you were the Bengals would you give up a young rising star at QB for an injured mid carreer player with a questionable head??? I mean I love it for us, but whats the Bengals motivation for this deal???

It's simple, Lavar is a game-changer. Did you miss his dominant 4 sack performance against Dallas two weeks ago? He's just what the Bengals need to get over the top. Next let's trade Jimoh for Shaun Alexander, our 7th round pick for Torry Holt, and our 2009 7th pick for Marvin Harrison. Makes about as much sense. Unfortunately, the other teams have something to say about the trade too...

I would respond to this with a well-reasoned counter argument, however from this point forward I will be focusing on one thing and one thing only: Philly.
