Zen-like Todd
who would it be? I'm talking about the generic "You have a football team", not for the Redskins. Some choices to consider. Terrell Owens is looking flat out amazing so far in the preseason. He apparently worked on his "speed" during the offseason, and could well be the most dominant WR in the league right now. Of course, his attitude blows, but hey..... he's planning on racking up 2000 receiving yards this season. Randy Moss.... oh, so much like T.O., except he only plays half the game. David Boston. A linebacker playing WR. Marvin Harrison. Consistent, speedy, and lacks the thug factor.
Art
For this team, Harrison. For a generic team, Boston .
kaffeen
Randy (ya I'm a thug, like my 24kt gold tooth?) Moss. I'd give him the best contract in the league for a WR, but I'd put a caveat in his contract that says he is fined $25,000 for every play he takes off. Erwin S.
Moss is the best WR out there, so I would go with him. Watch out for Eric Moulds though. I think he'll have a HUGE year.
codeorama
Rae Carruth...... he has killer instincts.
Zen-like Todd
Rae Carruth...... he has killer instincts. Soooo retarded... please tell me you're not the one who voted "Someone Else"
theposse
Terrell Owens. He may have some attitude issues, but he never didn't work hard, and now he seems to be over the Mariucci thing finally. And he has the total package in terms of size, speed, hands, running after the catch, etc. Moss has perhaps more talent but he doesn't work hard and I think brings down the team. Loki
I agree w/ Art 100 %. Harrison for us, Boston for me. Who I would pick up first who was not listed,.......Jimmy Smith. :asta: :asta:
Zen-like Todd
I totally agree about Harrison for us, or even the Rams. My "generic" pick was T.O. even with the attitude problems, the guy has an amazing competitive spirit, isn't afraid to go inside, wants the ball in crunch-time, performs in crunch time, etc. And I saw him in a preseason game last week, and he really DOES look faster. Uptown Skins
I chose Moss. Moss is gets it done no matter who's the QB. He has it all, height, speed and hands just to name a few. Terrell Owens is good make no mistake. But he has a Pro Bowl QB throwing him the ball. Likewise with Harrison. Now David "Roll 'em up" Boston would come in a close second because of that sentiment. But I'll withhold my judgment on him until after this season. I want to see Boston light it up again before I put him among my favorites. The someone else would be Rod Smith. He has to be the most underrated WR of all time.
gamecockskins
I dont even think it is close Randy Moss can give a defense more headaches than any other player besides M. Faulk. He is so good he can help every other facet of your offense.
Carlito Sway
Art's right in my book; in this O Harrison would be frightening. Plus, you can't imagine Moss would like sharing his catches with everyone else, and Owens (while nasty) just isn't a team guy.
Henry
I think probably David Boston. He is a beast and plays with by far the worst QB on the worst offense of the four WRs listed. Put him with Manning, Culpepper or Garcia and we wouldn't even be having this debate.
laurent
Terrel Owens. That guy can break a long one every time he touches the ball.
Could'a, Would'a, Should'a
Moss & Owens both have attitude problems Right now id go for David Boston because of his work aholic attitude, no lack of motivation and overall potential. (plus hes a physical freak)
luckydevil
Randy Moss no queston. I think Randy Moss can also fit this system. He is such a talent and a star. While you may not like his approach to the game, he is a stud. I am also a big fan of Boston.
The Evil Genius
Another name to add to that list might be Torry Holt. HE would do nicely here too Moss is obviously the most talented, but my vote went for Harrison.
franchise
TO baby!! The only attitude problem TO has is wanting to win. Like any competitive athlete, he just wanted the ball more cuz that gives his team the best chance of winning. He's more than proved that. His "problems" are entirely different than Moss who is a lazy bum and doesn't work. Once TO and Mooch got on the same page, everything is great. codeorama
I also really like Richmond Flowers..... He's got "flaming" speed.
PCS
 for each one.. 1st, very unfunny....class? Boston for our team....Moss for generic........would Boston fit in S.S.'s system?
prophet
I'd take boston.... seems to still be unkown outside the nfc east. I would never take moss or owens... both are cancers What owens did in dallas is inexcusable!!! That was the biggest classless act i've ever watch... Some one should have punked him out.... Plus you can't count on either wanting to play 100% all the time... (that was from moss's own mouth)
Drex
Randy Moss He is the most physically gifted receiver in the league. Attitude is questionable at times, but his talent can not be denied. Has the potential to be on the of the all time greats based on ability...time will tell.
Fred Smoot Fan
I would take Rod Gardner he's a machine in Madden 2k3!!! Last game vs Denver 5 catches, 167 yds, 4 TDs put that in yo pipe and smoke it
RTerps2002
Peter Warrick...
NavyDave
Gardner and D Mac I'm not into that grass is greener stuff R Carruth?? He would be awesome for the Ravens. They have slasher type at MLB who is a cut up at social events and Carruth has shown with the right personnel around that he can produce results in the shotgun
