Pete Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 I didn't get to see prime time tonight except for about the last 30 seconds when Boomer said the Giants and Dallas will have to go into Washington which are tough games for them , and the NFC east will not be settled till the final game of the season. That's good enough for me right now> It's Dallas week, and they are beatable to say the least, more so in our house............ santanamoss89 Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Now that we have won 2 games in a row although they were against weak teams do you think we will make playoffs? Next week we play Dallas which should be a tough game but we beat them earlier in the season. That week the Giants play KC (8-5 playoffs on the line) at home which should be a close game. Then the week after that the Redskins play the Giants at home. Eli Manning has only won 2 road games in his NFL career. One of them being against San Fransisco earlier in this season which was an easy game for them. The other being against the Eagles without T.O., Mcnabb and Westbrook in overtime. The Redskins have a good chance of winning that game but it should be pretty even. That week the Cowboys play @ the Panthers(9-4 tied for 1st in division). The Cowboys should lose that game making them 8-7 which would crush their playoff hopes. Then entering the last week of the season The Redskins will win at Philly because of all the injuries Philly has had. The Giants play @ Oakland(4-10)which should be a somewhat close game. Also the fact that it is on the road may be a factor. Hopefully the Giants will lose either next week or the last week of the season. The Redskins should be able to win out. If they win out and the Giants lose 1 game besides the game against the Skins the Redskins and Giants would be tied at 10-6 which would be leading the division. The Skins would be 5-1 in the division and the Giants would be 4-2 so the Skins would hold the tiebreaker. It may be hard to accomplish but the Skins will make the playoffs. We're could have controlled our own destiny with a Giants loss but beyond that, we're the same place we were when today started. We still have to beat Dallas and they really expended a lot of energy on the Chiefs. The Chiefs have to beat the Giants for their own playoff chances and the Giants had a lot of injuries today.
