The plane had just arrived from Colombia and was headed to Orlando, the reports said. Airport and Miami-Dade County police officials said they had no immediate comment. Maybe there was a drug runner or mule or something that the Marshall caught and was trying to attack him? Who knows. Johnny Punani2 Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 The more I listen to what happened the more it sounds like the Air Marshall F'ed up and F'ed up big time. He didn't shoot the guy on the plane they shot him on the tarmac which is OUT of their jurisdiction. 2nd the guy was trying to get off the plane and arguing with his wife and she was yeling telling people he has mental problems and is off his meds. When they wouldn't let him off the plane that's when he said he had a bomb and then the Air Marshall who I'm sure sat there and watched the whole thing from the start. Got up and tried to stop him from leaving the plane. He pushed through them and got outside on the tarmac and was walking back to the gate when they shot and killed him. They can't take a chance. I don't know about the jurisdiction of the Marshall on the Tarmac, but the Tarmac is where planes are, and if he said he had a bomb, he was fair game. I'm with Predicto.
