CrabR
I have been feeding the birds for years, and this year I have noticed a drastic shortage of birds of all species. I used to fill my feeders everyday for the small ones and every three days for the big one, now I don't even fill the small ones once a week. Today a spread birdseed on the picnic table, and the most birds I counted was 3 cardinals, last year after a snow I could easily count 20-30 cardinals at teh table. Anyone else notice the drop off ? Whiskeypeet
Not here on the west coast. I live in the city but seems like there are more pigeons and other tweety birds than ever. In fact, the little b@stards woke me up this morning.

Cskin
The bird flu has them all in a panic, paranoid, and staying in this winter. I also understand there is a shortage of real small paper masks, which could be the result of birds utilizing them in an attempt to avoid the "sickness"... as they call it. :paranoid:
