Johnny Punani2
I've been watching this for a couple of days. The models didn't look good for a big DC metro snow event (2-4 inches then change to rain). They looked much better for Hagerstown, MD north through central PA into New England. HOWEVER, the latest model run of the GFS @ 0Z has begun to trend the low further east off the coast. What does that mean to the person who doesn't know jack about meteorology? It means the DC metro area gets shifted into the bull's eye for snowfall. 8-12" type snowfall...

Too bad dome team plus snow plus home game = cakewalk Naw, I was actually referring to any home game. Could care less who they were playing. Some of my fondest memories of Skins games came while the weather was not so nice. My favorite had to be when I took my little brother to a game against NY and it sleeted and snowed the entire game. We sit in the LL so we got drenched. Yeah It was cold, but we had our faces and chests painted for the game, and nothing was gonna ruin that game. I don't remember if we won or not, I just remember being there in the cold, with no shirts on.

Tommy-the-Greek
This is the first winter season that I have a 4 wheel drive truck. Quite frankly I can't wait for snow and alot of it so I can try out the new truck. For those who do have 4 wheel drive vehicles do you remember the first time you used it in the snow? Did it really make a big difference?

Did it really make a big difference? The first time using 4wd (Jeep wrangler) in the snow for me didn't make much of a difference than the rwd 1985 ford escort I was used to driving....of course I was 17 and doing 60 in a 35 and lost control  . Once I LEARNED how to properly drive (4w2d, awd, rwd) 4wd made worlds of difference. During the 97 blizzard Bufford and I went out in his acura integra. That thing did real well in the snow. Sorry but even in 4wd you shouldn't be doing 60 in a 35 especially in the snow
