Riggo-toni
Warrick Holdman, baby. We can't just let him walk away.... We need to send the guard dogs to chase him out first.

Gallntfox
Could you have come up with a better term than "Locking Up" knowing that you were going to include Sean Taylor in the mix...he just might be the first one locked up longterm. You can only spread the bonuses out over the length of the contract. But I think I know what you mean...when they get towards the end of the contract, we get into cap hell because of the huge amounts of pro-rated bonuses. flexxskins
 If he ask for anything more than vet min Cut him  I was asking about Dockery Because I noticed that no one had mentioned him. Which leads me to believe that, like me the general consensus around here is that he is not worth any type of significant contract extention. TheLongshot
Lemar Marshall He got a 3 year contract in the offseason, so he's in pretty good shape. Jason
whatmeworry
Ryan Clark Cooley (altho he still probably has a couple of years) and Betts - BIG TIME I'm even thinking we make Betts our starting back. Let's face it - CP just hasn't been cutting it this year. His primary asset of breaking big runs hasn't materialized. Betts should probably start over him. DCsportsfan53
i dunno there is so much turnover in this organization, i don't think the FO/coaches know who they want to keep around. Hello, that's why Gibbs is here. To stop the turnover. Notice there wasn't much last year. If you think they don't already have a very good idea of what they're going to do in the offseason then you're greatly underestimating Gibbs. BTW, what's with not liking Bugel? whatmeworry
Probably would help to have a list of players who are FA after this season: 7 Ray Brown OG 10 Khary Campbell LB 11 Rock Cartwright RB 12 Ryan Clark S 13 Chris Clemons LB 14 Nic Clemons DE 18 Demetric Evans DE 24 Warrick Holdman LB 27 Ade Jimoh CB 30 Cedric Killings DT 31 Brian Kozlowski TE 44 Robert Royal TE 49 Omar Stoutmire S Jason Looking at this I'd say the Clemon brothers for sure - they generate a pass rush. Cartwright is a true Redskin. Love to keep him. Same with Ryan Clark. Holdman and Royal - don't let the door bump you on the ass.
dustinwhylee
Did somebody say Taylor Jacobs? I'm hoping I read wrong and nobody wants him to get his contract extended... Anyway, most of the people I want to stay as Redskins were mentioned already. Ryan Clark only got love from a couple of people. I think he's a keeper. TheLongshot
Did somebody say Taylor Jacobs? I'm hoping I read wrong and nobody wants him to get his contract extended... I think someone did. Jacobs isn't in danger of his contract running out, since he has two more years on his deal. I'm even thinking we make Betts our starting back. Let's face it - CP just hasn't been cutting it this year. His primary asset of breaking big runs hasn't materialized. Betts should probably start over him. I guess being the #9 back in the league isn't good enough for you... Jason
Bonez3
If the Redskins have done anything right under Snyder, it has been managing the cap. I rarely woory about locking up players. Seriously, how many other teams could blow as much money as the Skins and still be in the running for top free agents every year. For some reason, we never seem to be in cap crisis as much as other organiztions. Money is something Snyder is apt with.

If you think they don't already have a very good idea of what they're going to do in the offseason then you're greatly underestimating Gibbs. BTW, what's with not liking Bugel? first point: i didn't mean that gibbs wants to make changes for the heck of it. i think he is still feeling out the team and its needs to be sucessful. second point: i don't like bugel b/c he's a finger pointing, overexaggerating, ass who's more concerned about calling out players he doesn't coach than making sure the oline keeps the qb clean and portis in the endzone.
